Very comfortable room, amazing amenities - I loved the tea and coffee selection, as well as the beautiful ceramic tea set available, and having bath salts ready in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise. The common areas in the hotel were elegant, and the garden view from each floor added to the ambience.

I loved being right next to the train station. we just walked to the castle and the garden, the museums which is only about 4 or 5 km away. really easy flat walk. rooms were beautifully appointed.

Very central area close to Omichi market. The best market. Quite a few restaurants around and easy to get around. We visited the Samurai house and the Kenroku-en garden. We bought a one day pass to get around. The city was very quiet and not as stressful as Tokyo. We were recommended a nice sushi restaurant by one person in the reception. The restaurant, Cho-hachi, was on the way to the station from the hotel.

    Kanazawa was awesome. It’s a mix of traditional and modern with everything you need at your fingertips. It’s a great home base, especially if you are driving as it’s within range of lots of great places.

    The onsen was totally Japanese in style and attention to...

    The onsen was totally Japanese in style and attention to detail, very relaxing and with a staff dedicated to providing the best service. They were attentive and helpful. The forest near the onsen was beautiful for hiking and contemplating nature. Loved it. I will definitely return and to the same onsen.

    The hotel was fantastic, evening and more than my team expected! We loved the traditional clothing and meals, especially dinner. The breakfast for most Americans is a little rough. The hot springs were EPIC and the swimming was just right. Thank you

    The seaside accomodation was just as advertised.

    The seaside accomodation was just as advertised. The host was helpful and a delight. She made sure we had a lovely 2 nights there. Rooms were well presented and large with amenities that were first rate. The glass manufacture workshop and the glass museum were well woth the trip. The glass gallery is world class and the architecture special and suited to its location. The aquarium was disappointing. Show was good but the maintenance of the facility needs work.

    Kanazawa is a great city, very relaxing and walkable.

    Kanazawa is a great city, very relaxing and walkable. People are very friendly and the restaurants are great. It was a great place to visit for a few days after Tokyo. We do try the famous Noto Beef at a great low key restaurant. It was a great experience and the meat was incredible. Great hosts! We ate at: Wagyu yakinuku Suzuya

    Kanazawa is a very interesting place to visit.

    Kanazawa is a very interesting place to visit. It has a similar charm as Kyoto, but with fewer crowds. We found it easy to get around the city by bus or on foot. We had 2 days here but could have stayed for 4 days or more.
