MalaysiaOur room was beautiful and huge with views of both the ocean and Naha Airport, the double glass doors did an impressive job of blocking out all sound from the nearby Naha Airport, which was a real benefit for a good night sleep. The hotel offers free open-air parking directly beside it, and it's just a short walk to "Umikaji Terrace" where we had dinner and the famous pan-cake. We also enjoyed the complimentary flow of alcoholic drinks in the evening, all while overlooking the pool and watching planes take off and land. It's a pity we didn't have time to enjoy the outdoor hot spring pool.
We were also very grateful that the staff kindly arranged for us to pick up our breakfast boxes slightly earlier to accommodate our early morning flight, thank you so much!

The hotel is clean, spacious, the pool area is great whether you want sun or shade. The pool is great for adults or children. The setting is calm and beautiful. The beach attached to the hotel is so dreamy! The bluest sea and a nice walk in the day/evening. The location is a funny one to score as it’s in the middle of an industrial site, but most of the hotels are. The local bus leaves from the hotel lobby and you can go everywhere! It’s so easy to get to the mall, the ferry port, the airport, nearby beaches, restaurants so we actually liked the location as it’s so accessible by bus. The hosts were very hostile, they made us lovely local breakfast and were very friendly and polite. The room is spacious and has a beautiful view. Everything was clean und as an interior lover I enjoyed the Japandi interior of the room but also the whole building consisting of concrete and wood is breathtaking. There’s parking and 3 mins by car you have a 7/11 if you need anything. We got equipped with a cooling box and a kettle, more over the towels and cooling packs were changed daily. I experienced clean, peaceful and wonderful hospitality in Nanjo, a southern sea village different from northern Okinawa. You can enjoy a simple hot spring in an outdoor bathtub, which is a unique experience. The road from the hotel to the beach is absolutely beautiful. Very beautiful scenery and nature. Beautiful beaches but not all are allowed for swimming so make sure to check beforehand. Places to visit are pretty far from each other so it'd be best to rent a car to get around. Azama is a nice place, although it is quite far from the Naha city, but I like it. I visit most of the famous sea beaches in Okinawa during my stay. It is very important to rent a personal car that reduces transportation time to visitors. My recommendation to visitors for Azama Ocean View Terrace because it is very low price with all facilities specially for family visitors. Do not fix check in time by 4:00 p.m. If someone comes earlier, You should keep their baggage until check in time. Normally, check in time is 2 p.m. or 3 p.m. I don't know why they make 4:00 p.m.? Also, in the room they prepare small tea table only, I requested little bit bigger than this, but they denied. If you have business this area? it will be ok, but tourist? This is by far the best hotel stay I have had. The staff is so friendly, respectful, helpful, and their english is good! They helped book activities for us and went out of their way to call some places for the reservations and also booked taxis for us. Breakfast was amazing and so filling. The hotel has such a nice view with planes landing. It also has a massage place, and the Umaki Terrace which is right in front of the hotel has some cute shops. Great location for a relaxing trip. Be sure to make reservations for lunch and a massage!! The lunch cafe is like an art museum with a view as beautiful as the breakfast cafe. And the whole spa experience is incredibly relaxing. Allow plenty time. Ride the e-bikes to the nearby beach cafe for an early dinner (curry) with your feet in the sand. Ask how to find it. There's a lot to do - great cafes and restaurants, boat trips, a night-time jungle hike and some excellent museums.
