The cleanliness and spacious room is exceptional good and by far biggest room. The hot spring is available throughout the night which is very helpful especially when one has entire day adventure to ease the tense muscles. The build in restaurant offers good value for money meals which help those who has no means of transport. The washer and dryer allows its patron usage helps tourist. Hotel next to Shari river. Sunrise and sunset is beautiful. Night stars can be seen just out of windows.

Very friendly and polite staff. Spacious and clean room. Relaxing atmosphere. Love their buffet which offers different local delicacies. Even though we can’t speak Japanese, the staff tried their best to explain the facilities and food items to us. They can speak some English and some can speak Mandarin. Very professional team of staff.

Without a doubt the best place we ever stayed at in Japan, and we have been to quite a few special ones. Every little detail was thought of, the cottage is beautiful and just a few meters from the sea. Lisa, the owner, is a master in hospitality. We felt pampered and taken care of. It was wonderful.

We spent a wonderful 4 days in this gem of a house in Shari. Its location was ideal for exploring the Shiretoko National Park and the Akan-Mashu National park, with side trips to Kawayu and Abashiri. There are plenty of good restaurants and local supermarkets in the area too. The house itself is fully equipped with everything you would ever need. There's a mini fridge with local goodies, too, for a very reasonable price. There were 3 bedrooms. 2 of them with 2 twin beds and a tatami room with fold out futons. Great kitchen with all the mod cons, washing machine, and separate dryer, which worked great. Free parking is available in front of the house, and there's a great yakitori place across the road. It's wonderfully peaceful in the evenings despite being situated along the main road. The host is always available, and retrieving the keys was very efficient. A great stay, and I highly recommend it.
