The beds were very comfortable and contributed to a quality sleep. The breakfast was rich and varied, with both Japanese and Western options - each of us found exactly what suited our taste. The quality of the food was high and the selection was extensive. While the hotel's style is somewhat dated, that's actually part of its charm. Most importantly - everything is maintained to an excellent standard and feels clean and well-kept. The staff was simply wonderful - attentive, considerate, and always ready to help with a smile. It locates at the quiet side of the lake so you really need a car. I had dinner at our first night there, the food quality was outstanding and not expensive at all giving this quality and service. The private onsen (hotspring) is exceptionally big and very comfortable. Room is very big comparing to regular hotel room, even big hotel room. Staff were very friendly and cheerful, I like them a lot. Within 1 hour drive, you can access a lot of beautiful places. This is a beautiful region of Japan, and it is astonishing that it’s just a few hours away from the crush, noise and bright lights of Tokyo. The area has many places of interest and tourist trails. The area is rich for hot springs, beautiful mountain rivers and lakes. You can eat tasty almos in every restaurats you find. The food is fresh and ecologically balanced. many options for sports.
