He helped arrange tuk-tuks, shopping, and even welcomed me into his beautiful village. That day will stay with me. Chuti’s cooking is out of this world — soulful curries cooked to perfection. Asanka, Cha, and the rest of the team are warm, intuitive, and quietly brilliant. Returning to your cottage feels like the fairies have been — everything clean, calm, and glowing. It’s the kind of place that makes you breathe deeper, sleep better, and believe in the goodness of people again. I travel a lot. I’m extremely picky. And I can say — from Monte Carlo to Mauritius — this is in my top three stays anywhere in the world. The Cottage is family, nature, care, and calm wrapped into one unforgettable experience. The food was amazing and they had great vegetarian options! We loved the pool and the garden area, and the rooms were so clean and nicely designed! The shower had warm water and good pressure! The owners were very nice and kind, even gave us bananas from their tree to snack on ☺️ The surrounding area was nice and quiet!

The hotel staff is really nice anf helpful with keeping our luggage and transport to the airport. The rooms are quite cheap and still offer really good quality and super clean. Overall a nice experience, I would always stay there agsin if I had to go to or from the airport.

I loved this hotel. I arrived early, before check-in time. No problems, I had something to eat and drink wjhile waiting for my room. I had been travelling all night and so hungry and tired. it wasn't long before my room was ready so appreciated the early check-in. The staff in the restaurant were exceptionally nice and friendly. I had amongst the best food here while staying in Sri Lanka - both ordering from the menu and then later in the evening from the buffet when my friends arrived. The vegetarian curries, dhals and breads are delicious. My room and bathroom were comfortable, clean and spacious.

Apartments were very clean, and staff were always available and friendly. Swimming pool was open 24/7 and kids had an enjoyable stay. Location was convenient and there was an island feel. The apartments were facing the beach side, hence at night the sound of waves are heard which created a calming and a relaxing atmosphere. Food was available outside within a short walking distance.

The location was right on the beach but also had a pool. The sea was a bit rough so we swam in the pool and just soaked in our first day in Sri Lanka. We went for a walk and. Ended up at the local markets which was really cool. It was overcast that day so perfect for a day of exploration.

Perfect for travelers just commencing or wrapping up their Sri Lanka trip. Close to the airport with a nice beach and tens of eating options. Tuktuks available at odd hours - I booked one via a ride-hailing app at 4 am within 2 miutes. Also, loved dining at Zen Cafe when I stayed here.

We had 2 nights before our flight. Not the right season for the local beach, they were beautiful down south. We enjoyed our Negombo cooking class. Was a lot of preparing the food and even better when it came to eat it

The host was very kind and helpful.

The host was very kind and helpful. He received us very happily. The next day at 6.00 in the morning he prepared for us nice delicious tea, before we left to the Airport. We will recommend this house to our friends and waiting to stay at such a nice calm and quiet place close to the Airport again.

We loved the down to earth hospitality of all the staff. Specially Dinesh, who stands out the crowd as a professional. Kind and jovial he knows how to row the boat gently and professionally. The chef did an excellent job as the restaurant boys. We can not thank them enough for a job well done.

I feel its overrated.

I feel its overrated. If someone needs a beach vibe in short distance from airport its fine but there is no strong night life. Food is overpriced.Seafood is way too expensive than Colombo also. As a local I feel Negombo is not par with south coast

Katunayake is a convenient location for travelers, especially those flying in or out of Bandaranaike International Airport. It’s a busy area with easy access to transportation and essential services, making it ideal for short stays before or after a flight. I stayed at Hello Airport Hotel during my time in Katunayake, and it was a great choice. The hotel is just a few minutes from the airport, which made it perfect for my early morning departure. The location couldn’t be better for transit passengers. The check-in was smooth, the staff were polite, and the room was clean and comfortable. If you’re looking for a no-fuss, convenient stop near the airport, I’d definitely recommend Hello Airport Hotel.

I like most of the thing is staff's response was excellent and very quiet and peaceful room. The hotel must be implemented to do below the mentioned points. 1: The hotel room needs to keep a dustbin. 2: The hotel must keep a bath towel inside the bathroom. 3; The Bathroom inside the slippers needs to be kept. Other than this everything is ok.
