This place is just wow! So clean, unique design, all facilities are new and chefs are the best in Sri Lanka ! Me and my friend enjoyed every single breakfast and even stayed for a dinner sometimes. Highly recommend !

The hotel is amazing, the rooms are spacious and very nice. The environment is so nice - there are white rabbits running freely on the lawns around the pool. The staff, especially Sasini, did everything to make us feel special. There is washing machine in the kitchen area, which was really helpful.

We are a family - a couple of parents and four children. We were able to book through Booking only one room. Near the arrival we contacted the hotel and they helped us and gave us another room. The rooms are spacious and pleasant, the bathroom is large and bright. The hotel has a pool and the children enjoyed swimming in it. In addition, the hotel restaurant offers delicious and unique dishes, but above all the management team and employees are exceptionally kind and welcoming. The location of the hotel is excellent, we enjoyed being close to the sea (on foot) and close to various restaurants.

Excellent accommodation... During our stay in Sri Lanka, we changed a total of five accommodation... But Sky View Cabin was the best... Wonderful host makes sure we have everything we need, breakfast was different every day, varied, excellent . The cottages were equipped with everything, air conditioning, kettle, shampoo and shower gel, they looked rustic, just what we were looking for. They are close to the main road, bus station and Unawatuna train station. The price is more than favorable, considering the high season and the offer... The host allowed us to leave our things after check in and came to say goodbye to us. During our entire stay, we felt wonderful and that someone cared about how we felt. Thank you for an unforgettable stay, next time in Unawatuna I will definitely book this accommodation. Thank you, you were amazing! 🤗

We had the most wonderful 6 night stay at Green Escape - everything was perfect. The hotel itself is so beautiful, comfortable and tastefully decorated. It's a 10min tuktuk drive to Unawatuna so very easy to reach, and such a beautiful location in the middle of nature. The pool is very nice, the food is amazing (we had dinner here 3 nights of our stay and every dish was incredible, best prawns we ever had) and the staff go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and amazing as possible. Special thanks to Samira and Harsha for always being very helpful, giving great tips and recommendations and taking us around on the tuktuk. A very special place to stay, we would love to come back again someday!

Uyana is exceptional. Janaka the manager is also exceptional. The landscaping is delightful. The premises are very very clean and Uyana is held to a high standard. Their is architectural merit in this retreat. As other reviewers have suggested however, it is Janaka that runs this operation beautifully. A very quietly spoken, discreet manager who appears to have gained a lot of experience along the way. He reminds me of the very best of staff in hotels in major cities. He makes things happen quietly. It appears as if everything is done with complete ease. I left my phone in a taxi after vacating Uyana. Janaka organised its retrieval. I was one of a few guests. Another guest during our stay lost her pack/wallet on a road locally. Janaka with all the quiet ease of a true professional retrieved everything very quietly. No fuss is made. If every visitor has a request outside of the norm it takes an experienced professional to keep everything running smoothly whilst keeping all the guests happy. Uyana Retreat has a real asset in their manager and he also appears to have pride in the very establishment that he is the face of. 5 stars.
