The host is amazing! They help you with everything! Also The rooms are super. Airco and fan + multiple lights. And ofcourse a nice warm shower. We booked a safari tour with them and the driver is also The guide. He has much knowledge of the animals and has eagle eyes so he spots anything you are looking for. 10/10

I have been travelling through Sri Lanka for 3 weeks now. This place is, hands down, the best I have stayed at. The location is excellent and so are the facilities. The rooms are bright, spacious and very clean. Everything (such as faucets, air conditioning, etc) is not only in good working order but also of good quality. It's a new hotel with an inviting pool, what is there more to wish for... Well, as great as this place is, its biggest asset is the manager. He understands the importance of personalized service! A big thank you to him and all his staff for making me feel so welcome.

We had such a pleasent stay at Vimanra!Spacious and clean family room. Nice pool in a lovely garden just below the cozy terrace. Extremely attentive and serviceminded owner; he fixed everything for us. Meals served at our convenience. We highly recommend the afternoon safari for jetlagging Europeans; we had a wonderful experience with lots of different animals.

Our stay at Serene Retreat was truly memorable. This place is surrounded by greenery and offered a peaceful escape from the busy city. The room was spacious, with modern amenities. It had everything you could need, including air conditioning and a hairdryer. The pool area was a real highlight — clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing with sun-beds. The food was a real highlight — the breakfast spread had a variety and catered to different tastes. The staff went above and beyond, always welcoming us with a smile and offering helpful tips about the area. It was a perfect get away for us and would love to come back again.

We had the most wonderful experience at Wild Safari Nest Udawalawe – it truly felt like a little oasis surrounded by coconut and banana trees, offering peace, comfort, and authentic Sri Lankan hospitality. The outdoor pool was a perfect retreat – clean, inviting, and surrounded by lush greenery, making it ideal for relaxing after a day of adventure. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, with high ceilings that gave it a light and airy feel. The bathroom was modern and spotless, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We also loved our private balcony with a serene garden view – the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the sounds of nature. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the incredible food. Breakfast and dinner were freshly prepared by the lovely family who runs the hotel, and everything tasted homemade, authentic, and full of flavor. It felt like dining with family – warm, welcoming, and delicious! The hotel also organized an amazing safari for us in Udawalawe National Park. Our guide was extremely experienced and knowledgeable, and the whole experience was smooth and unforgettable. We saw so much wildlife and learned so much – it was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Add to that the friendly, helpful staff, free Wi-Fi, and comfortable amenities, and it’s safe to say that Wild Safari Nest Udawalawe is a true gem.     Superb glamping tent set up. Very luxurious and comfortable. It was huge! With two separate bedrooms and a little seating area in the front, very well furnished and exceptionally clean. Staff were incredible and very helpful, right from the moment we arrived they couldn’t do enough to help us and were extremely polite and respectful. The meals were exceptional and seemed to be conjured up from nowhere! They were served under the stars for dinner around a beautiful fire, which was so special. Then there was the safari itself, it was so magical seeing herds of elephants and their babies. Our guide and driver were so motivated to ensure we had an excellent experience and stopped at nothing to ensure this happened.

    It was the best lodging of our 3 week sri lanka trip. beautiful large unit with a comfortable bed and more than a sheet to cover with. Beautiful and relaxing pool and delicious meals. Breakfast was twice as much as we could eat... egg hoppers, fresh fruit, vegetable samosas, crepes filled with ginger coconut, coffee and tea. The Elephant transit center was a real highlight and just a 15 minute walk away. The friendly staff organized a nice early morning safari with coffee and bananas before and breakfast after.

    The Country Side Hotel at Uda Walawe is a very nice place...

    The Country Side Hotel at Uda Walawe is a very nice place right off the main road. Rooms are spacious and clean, overlooking a ~10m long swimming pool within the trees. It is a very nice please to stay overnight before an early morning safari. Breakfast is excellent, as the warm staff members. Such a real pleasure that i stayed an extra day!

    Very friendly staff gave a warm welcome. The welcome coffee was the best time of my life. Not only that, I was surprised because the pool was so clean and beautiful. And another best option is that my friends also went on safari with them so we organized the safari with them. The driver is very friendly and has 10 years of experience. Thank you for everything.

    This place is one of my favorites in Sri Lanka! It was such a beautiful surprise! Calm area, very nice outdoor setting, the room was very spacious (as was the bathroom!) So let's talk details: - Food: Amazing! Home cooked food, with candlelight and the sounds of nature! - Safari: He was a very good company during my trip! He gave me some tips, was very flexible with my requests. - Helpfulness: Arranged a taxi to my next destination, Overall, it was totally worth it, you will really enjoy it! !
