The place is perfect. It is very close to the sea. To sleep closer you would need to be in the dunes. Few minutes walk to the wild seaside with very few people around. Cozy place to be and relax.

Beach is just 10 seconds away! I had two dogs with me and it was exactly what I wanted for long beach walks.
The area is quietly, which is just what I wanted. The lady of the house is very genial and will try to satisfy your needs! She has renovated part of her traditional house into a small apartment. Old & new come together!

Really liked that things are kept pretty old-school - adds to the atmosphere. By staying here, you can experience not only nature around, but also history and soul of the place.
Thanks for giving such an awesome place where we were able to make lovely memories.
Host was very welcoming and kind. Property itself is a wonderful choice for bigger families or groups. You have everything you need in the middle of town and in the meantime you can enjoy peace and quietness. Location is great.

Very nice place with multiple small houses located under pine trees. Shower, toilet, dishwasher machine, an oven was in our house. It was possible to take grill stuff with no additional cost

There is enough to do for at least one afternoon if you enjoy nature and history. There is a castle, a small island, castle park with some old trees. A church. Several pretty ponds. An alley of old linden-trees on Pāces street. We Latvians just love big old trees, Dundaga is certainly a good place to find plenty of those. I took a small hike to the cemetery of old time German barons, a very serene place. The town has several restaurants and supermarkets, so no problems with provisions, and I stayed at a comfortable and good value guest house Jūras sapņi. Actually I wish I had stayed longer and tried more hiking in the area.

Kolka is a very sleepy small village, were the only thing to see is the spectacular and scenic Cape Kolka, were the Baltic Sea and the Bay of Riga meet. Well there is a Livonian Community House, but we missed it.
It stunning nature is enough for you, Kolka is worth a visit. But if you look for nightlife or action, forget it.
