I couldn't have asked for better hosts than Nensi and Roberts, they were the sweetest, always available, helpful and caring. They care about their business and clients and it shows. The breakfast was outstanding and they have their own restaurant that serves during the day and evening. The menu is varied with pretty much everything you wish for. People that don't stay at the guesthouse love eating there, there was always someone and it's kids friendly with a little corner filled with toys from their cute daughter. The guesthouse is in the center next to the church, supermarkets, ATM and bus station. All the events happening that weekend were 5 to 10 minutes away by feet. The view of the lake from the terrasse is gorgeous. All the rooms were very clean and comfortable. If you like cosy atmospheres this is the place for you. Alsunga is worth visiting, the people are welcoming, the village's and Suiti's history's fascinating and goes back to the 1620's. We celebrated my husband’s birthday in Kuldiga. Most restaurants close at 8 pm we only found one that stayed open until later. My favorite place in Kuldiga is Kuldiga itself, the beauty, nature, old buildings etc. It is very easy to move around Kuldiga, because there are helpful signs everywhere.
