The restaurant was excellent. The food and service were as fine as any Micheli Bib Gourmand restaurant we have enjoyed. The property accommodated all ages, with spa, sporting activities, and children's playground, all at a pleasantly modest scale that made all feel welcome at this lake resort. I would recommend the Baltvilla for a short overnight stay or for a week's vacation.

At Hotel Senleja I felt immediately at home and very welcome. The modern and comfortable hotel is perfectly located for trips through Gauja National Park, the room was sparkling clean and there was always something special for breakfast among with the regular breakfast ingredients.     Excellent legendary hotel with direct access to beach in Jurmala. 5 minute walk from Majori Railway Station and 5 minute walk from hotel to Jonas Iela. Excellent breakfast with a beatiful beach view (situated in the upper floor of "Il Sole" Restaurant. Breakfast offer varied, healthy and very very tasty with plenty of options to choose from. Foot shower on the beach ramp in order to get rid of the sand (very important) Very convenient bicycle rental service. Very cooperative and excellent staff Swimming pool, sauna and spa-wellness zone very clean. Excellent throughout Did not have time to enjoy "view" restaurant so leave this for a future trip.     The food for breakfast and dinner was absolutely wonderful - just the right mix of the things that the soul of the Soviet Union-born person craves ) The sauna and the pool were very nice to have. Actually, that's a very nice place to do some swimming training - a lot of training activity was already happening here. So one can also hire a personal trainer and improve their swimming skills.

    There is spa available for day pass £25 for adult for 2.5 hours in Jurmala Spa hotel. No need to book in, walk in welcome. Excellent facilities and kids friendly lots to do. I went twice wile on my trip. Lots of lovely restaurants, bubs and shops to explore for all liking. You can have lovely walk on the beach, it has activitys available and Caffè to enjoy during and view even if it's windy.

    I like the hotel because of its location, cleanliness and customer service at the reception. I did not like the restaurant and its staff because they do not serve enough food at the breakfast even though you pay for it. If you do not go to breakfast early, you only get some leftovers. They do not bring any additional food for missing items.

    Have been there probably 5 times, different properties and not always staying the night, sometimes just for a walk, sometimes for lunch, sometimes for the beach or for forest walk. Lilaste is for those who appreciate nature and don't want the pretentious wannabe posh style of Jurmala, but instead just to relax and feel nature and tranquility around you. And it's definitely cleaner than Jurmala.

    To be honest I traveled from Riga to Sloka train station and it took about 50 minutes and cost €2.50. I was staying so near the beach I didn’t go into the town at all just walked on the beautiful beach every day!

    Sigulda is a great place to overcome obstacle courses located in the treetops. In the "Mežakakais" adventure park, you will be challenged by 6 tracks with 82 obstacles of varying difficulty. On the other hand, in the largest open-air adventure park in the Baltics - Tarzāns, you will not only be able to climb 20 meters above the ground, but also go down the toboggan track. Also Bungee Sigulda is a unique place in Europe, where jumps with a bungee are taken from a CABLE CAR.
