The house was like a museum with the breath of old days in every corner. At the same time the bathrooms and kitchen was all up to date. We enjoyed the lake and boats. Kids loved it!

I like the environment here very much, there are very complete supplies. The host was also very helpful in helping us store our bicycles. The room and toilet are very clean. Loved it. The family left no stone unturned - attention to detail at it’s best- they provided us with valuable information about activities near the property- and the upgrade to using the sauna and hot tub was the cherry on the cake- property close to the river, and lots of hiking trails too- property was comfortable and warm- all facilities were modern and up to date- a coffee machine with pods, sugar and any possible items were available-

Pleasant, but apart from the fact that it's one town in two...
Pleasant, but apart from the fact that it's one town in two countries, there is not that much to see / do. Cool to step over border and take a look at Estonian supermarket with slightly different goods, have some Estonian icecream. Liked town square on the Estonian side, a couple of monuments. Several spots for lunch / dinner, some even a bit fancy. I took a quick look during one afternoon, and the next morning took a bus to the nearby Strenci for a lovely forest walk along Gauja river.
