This type of hotel suits me perfectly. The location in the transit zone of the airport, for late and early flights is excellent. Cleanliness is the highest rating, breakfast is all fresh. It was very central: less than 5 minutes walk to most sights in the old town. It was very quiet at night for a peaceful night’s sleep. The breakfast was excellent. We had a one bedroom apartment and it was spacious and with beautiful views of Riga Dome.

Excellent breakfast with a beatiful beach view (situated in the upper floor of "Il Sole" Restaurant. Breakfast offer varied, healthy and very very tasty with plenty of options to choose from. Foot shower on the beach ramp in order to get rid of the sand (very important) Very convenient bicycle rental service. Very cooperative and excellent staff Swimming pool, sauna and spa-wellness zone very clean. Excellent throughout Did not have time to enjoy "view" restaurant so leave this for a future trip. Thank you.

    We arrived later than planned by 1 hour and a bit, but we were waited for. The check in was smooth. The room was very nice and big. There are even glasse, cups, cutlery and dishes inside. We could enjoy the beach area and one of the most beautiful views on the sky with Milky Way. Prices was ok for room. Restaurant also on site. Great description and photos.

    Wonderful place and owners! Clean and tidy room and territory. The atmosphere itself was absolutely great! There is a place for calm fishing and swimming! We took a boat with electric motor for a day, Visvaldis have prepared everything for me and child. We will definitely come again. Highly recomended.

    There is spa available for day pass £25 for adult for 2.5 hours in Jurmala Spa hotel. No need to book in, walk in welcome. Excellent facilities and kids friendly lots to do. I went twice wile on my trip. Lots of lovely restaurants, bubs and shops to explore for all liking. You can have lovely walk on the beach, it has activitys available and Caffè to enjoy during and view even if it's windy.

    I like the hotel because of its location, cleanliness and customer service at the reception. I did not like the restaurant and its staff because they do not serve enough food at the breakfast even though you pay for it. If you do not go to breakfast early, you only get some leftovers. They do not bring any additional food for missing items.

    Great small town.

    Great small town. Big attractions are the castle; the forest walks for hikers; the nearby outdoor activity centre with kayaking etc; lovely restaurants and cafes - good food but not expensive. Friendly people, courteous drivers, feels very safe to stroll around.

    In march the was not much happening in the town.

    In march the was not much happening in the town. Rates Varti restaurant was cosy but the dishes were served almost cold. The lunch in the Wolmar Hotel cost only 6 euros beeing well worth it. The Olympic Casino was a strange place for gambling addicts.

    A hidden pearl of Latvia and Old Livonia with an island resort in the middle. Despite being almost 200 km from the seashore the city had an inspiring shore holiday feel with a great beach side island in the middle of the city. Great place to learn about the history and the origin of written Latvian language.

    Great old town - vibrant with shops restaurants, UNESCO rated heritage preserved. We took tram to new library across the river which is an impressive building, also with an exhibit on design by Latvian- American architect. We took tram to Art Nouveau museum and self guided walking tour of the buildings in that area as well as embassy row. Largest amount of Art Nouveau buildings in the world. Day trip by train to Kemeri and Jurmal was worthwhile!

I attended opera "Parcifal" 09.08.2025 in there and this only Oņegins great example of how much interesting events are took place in the town during entire year.
