I requested a quiet room as I am in my early pregnancy and wanted to rest properly. Sami and his other colleagues welcomed me upon arrive and they all have been amazing. Got a requested room provided and I was very happy with it. Everyone in the staff was super nice and friendly, felt welcome and they were always happy to help with anything. Great attitude! Sami has been exceptional and super friendly. A person I got along the most and seem to be very professional in his job. Breakfast was good, the pool was nice and the beach access was also pretty cool. My double was just fine, I didn’t mind it being a bit dated, I think it was actually really pretty Moroccan style with a very comfy bed. Booking.com 's representation of where this apartment is is totally inaccurate.They show it as being in the middle of Taghazout. It is not, it is miles from anywhere. £8 in a taxi to get into Taghazout, no real restaurants or shops near by. Contacted the apartment agents but the lady was so rude and unhelpful. We ended up having to move to Agadir and having to spend extra money on a hotel. Totally disappointed in booking .com. 🌊✨ Imsouane — where time slows down and the soul breathes ✨🌊 Tucked between rugged cliffs and rolling Atlantic waves, Imsouane is one of those rare places that feels untouched, timeless, and deeply grounding. Whether you're a surfer chasing the longest wave in Africa, a yogi in search of stillness, or a traveler wanting to unplug and reconnect, Imsouane has a quiet magic that gets under your skin. The pace here is beautifully slow — sunrise surf sessions, fresh fish straight from the harbor, golden hour strolls along the cliffs, and starry skies at night. It’s not a party town; it’s a place to exhale. Locals are kind and welcoming, the surf community is humble and open, and everything you need is within a short walk: cafés, beach shacks, viewpoints, and nature. There's an authenticity here that’s increasingly rare. After visiting many many countries, I can honestly say Imsouane is one of those few places I carry in my heart long after leaving. There are some great surf spots within a short drive and good value restaurants. Beyond this, there is not much to do. The neighboured seems safe though is a little dirty. There are some very friendly locals though it feels like most just want to make money out of you rather than have a genuine interaction. Riad was authentic Moroccan style. Loved being there. Ocean was close by - about 7 minutes walk - and we loved being on the beach and hearing the sound of the waves. Guided hiking was great and we enjoyed bartering in the souk in Agadir. We visited a women's collective on our way to the anti Atlas with great organic oils and an educational tour of the gardens. That was fabulous - no pushy selling. We ate mainly in the hotel but there were many good places to eat inexpensively near by. Getting around was easy - taxi for us. Imi ouaddar isn’t a true representation of what I think Morocco is like. It’s soulless, lacks charm and I would recommend visiting somewhere else if asked. We had an all-inclusive hotel, therefore we didn't go out to eat or drink. Activities we did: -Jet skis- we didn't pre-book. Just rock up to the beach and barter! We got a great deal for 2 pax 15 min €50 (on their price list it was €50 for 1 pax 20min). -Quad bike tour in the Sahara- this we booked online on the day. Because it was last minute we got a half price discount for €19pp. This included; hotel pickup/drop off, 3 hour quad bike tour, sand surfing and tea break at the beach. Amazing experience. -Souk el Had- biggest market in Africa- a must! Go in prepared and don't get scammed like we did 5 min in. Barter. Barter. BARTER. Check online on TikTok for price comparisons on how much things should be. But amazing experience and very clean compared to other markets I had been to. Lots of building works. In 5 - 10 years this place will be like the Bali of Morrocco. Some really nice chilled cafes and restaurants, some attached to hotels.
