This is not just another hotel or apartment. This place is like visiting your grandparents for the weekend where everyone is trying to do good for your and grandma cooks her best dishes for you. This place has a beautiful view, it is clean and modern. Everyday you get asked what you want to eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner and then it is cooked in the tastiest way. And it is not about money, it is about you being happy with your day and with your stay. Also there are boat trips available where you get to see the beauty of the lake closely. We really liked our stay, we loved meeting Mijo and his parents. We felt like home there and we definitely recommend this place!

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming — they treated us like their own family. The food was delicious; I had the best vegetarian meals in Montenegro, and the best part is that the vegetables come straight from their own garden. This was the best place we visited in Montenegro. Rustic Village is a peaceful and beautiful haven, surrounded by gorgeous countryside. It was so instantly relaxing to be there. The pool was fantastic, and most of all, the welcome and warmth from the owner Mladen and his mother was wonderful. They cooked fabulous meals- all with ingredients from their own garden or the local area, and eaten under a grapevine, surrounded by flowers. We went on Mladen’s boat trip on the river to the top of the lake- just stunning. Such a pretty area.
