Very convenient location for both international and domestic flights. Both airports are within walking distance from the hotel. Hotel's free airport shuttle was very comfortable and readily available both on arrival and departure flights. Hotel owners and personnel are very friendly, especially their Italian Cook is very hospitable he makes the best Venetian pizza in town. Highly recommend trying that pizza if you are going to stay in that hotel. :)

I am so grateful for Eliene at the reception. She helped me buy my Cotisse ticket and booked a taxi for me so I could safely get to the Cotisse transport in the dark early morning. She was always smiling and kindly answered all of my questions. ​The room was simple but tidy and clean. There is a traditional market nearby, where I bought tomatoes and ate local food. It is a great place for travelers to stay. The hotel is located on a hill, but it was no problem for me.

An oasis of peace to recharge after long journeys. We appreciated the spaciousness of the room and bathroom, the cleanliness, the kindness of the staff, always ready to resolve any issues, and especially the spa area: a very large, 1.30-meter-deep pool, a gym, a sauna, and a hammam.     It was a stopover before my next flight. So the hotel being some 15 mins from the airport was very good. I had early flight, but buffet breakfast was available as from 6.00 am which was convenient. It was great to have the free shuttle service to the airport and also the spa facilities included was great for relaxing. Dinner at the hotel was nice too.

    Tana has certainly nice area’s, but the center is very crowded and dirty. Not the prettiest place we have been, although the Kings palace (north of Tana), queens palace, marche artisanal de la digue are worth visiting. We did not spent a lot of time in Tana, it was the beginning and end of our trip west and back with rental 4 wheel drive. Maybe next time …

    Not many bars/restaurants to choose among.

    Not many bars/restaurants to choose among. Some roads are not even asphalted yet. Most of properties look like prisons due to the barbed wire on the walls of houses. You are about 50 minutes driving far from the city centre, but close to Croc farm, worth a visit.

    I spent two days in Tana.

    I spent two days in Tana. The first day, I rested in my room, by the pool, got a massage and relaxed on the balcony at sunset. Then I chatted with the friendly staff at the bar until bedtime. On day two, I had a very good guide and driver who took me around the city. I'm so glad we visited the markets, and the Queen's Palace!
