I like the Friday morning front desk lady who handled so well calls and the lobby full of clients waiting for reservations and check outs she never lost the control and answer the calls with the highest customer service expectations, the housekeeping, courtesy taxi and the rest of the staff very friendly, greeting every time , I’m very observant on customer service, make us feel welcome, keep that standard please.

Very clean and comfortable express hotel. Friendly staff and 24 hour security in the parking lot. Fairly close to a lot of good food. Appreciated the pet friendliness and tolerance of my mediocre Spanish! 24 hour specialty coffee machine in the lobby included was a nice bonus. Fast wifi!

    Many good quality restaurants of all types of food and price ranges to meet your personal budget, easy to get around, basic shopping mall nothing to wow about, great weather as it almost never rains and temperatures in mid 80 to low 90 april to September. As any city, get in the wrong neighborhood and trouble will find you, stick to business and hotel zones your good to go, San Carlos Beach awesome just 50 minute drive south, visible police without being overbearing, very protective of tourist as many Canadians and Americans are frequent visitors.

    The stay started off great — the place was very clean, and everything matched the photos and description. We were comfortable and really enjoyed the space. Unfortunately, things went downhill due to plumbing problems. The kitchen island sink was barely hanging on and eventually fell, and we also had issues in the laundry room. When you’re on vacation, you don’t expect to deal with repairs or problems in the house, and that definitely took away from the experience. Great potential, but maintenance needs serious attention.

    I came last year in June, the weather was perfect. Not very recommended in March, it was cold, windy and my kids couldn't swim in the beach or pool... They enjoyed the views and restaurants, especially Mariscos el Rey.

    Navojoa is the best place to stay for one of the nights if traveling between the Puerto Vallarta area and the Nogales area. (Mazatlan is the other overnight stop.) I make it a 3 day, 2 night trip between the 2. About 7.5 hour drive each day.

    The museum of history at the city centre was good, but the numbers on objects often did not match with the nicely translated book that was handed to us at the entrance. That would be easy to correct, and should be done. The cemetery and casa las Delisias were very interesting, and the cathedral quite a beautiful building from the past. The Tourist information building had no maps of the city available, and provided no information on any events. It would be good to make sure good information in English is available there for poor Spanish speakers/readers. Dona Lola restaurant served very good food. The restaurant in the city centre was less good.

    The city itself is not very tidy and there is trash and rubble throughout. On the positive side, the beaches are great and there is now a Wal-mart and Sam's Club. The roads are getting better but you still have to pay close attention to the pot-holes and the other drivers. The people are very nice.

    The town was easy to get around and the locals all seemed nice. Everything was well kept and the staff at the local restaurants were great. We stopped at the grocery store and found what we needed for a decent price. They even had self check out options.

    Navojoa is not a tourist destination; it is a typical agricultural town and not particularly attractive. We go there because it is my wife's home town so we visit family. Regarding other reviews of Hacienda Cazadores that mention road and train noise, this is true but there is NO HOTEL in Navojoa that does not suffer the same problem (after nearly 30 years of going there I know this to be true). Frankly, Cazadores has the least noise from the road and train because the walls are so thick.

    Alamos is such an interesting colonial town.

    Alamos is such an interesting colonial town. So much history and architecture. Don't miss the Mirador; perhaps take a trolley tour. We also tasted bacanora for the first time. Good dining options, strolling and photography. Next time i want to do more hiking in the local hills. Also, don't miss a side trip to La Aduana.
