There was a huge choice of Chinese, Malaysian, and Indian foods, as well as Western options. The location is convenient for many restaurants and the night market in Kuah, and there are a few duty-free shops and a 7-Eleven very nearby. The room was a dream, with a terrace overlooking the fountains — the perfect spot to relax while listening to and watching the local birds. Both pools made it hard to leave, and at the cascade pool, where the swim-up bar is located, the staff were always kind and attentive (and they made us a piña colada that was absolutely delicious). One of the moments we’ll never forget was the sunset on the beach, where you could walk along the shore or simply lie back on the hammocks and soak it all in. It is a small peaceful town with lots of shops you find in big cities. The food is cheap. The Pasar Tani was interesting. It is situated behind Restoran Berkat. This restaurant consists of a few stalls serving local delicacies. A must come for people not familiar with the local food. There is a more modern township called Amanjaya for the younger ones. Small town, not suitable for shoppers. Recommended for those who enjoying eating. Recommended place is Dusun Riffa which can spend time from 9 am - 7 pm with good scenery, clean place and very good food. Also recommended KinKin Restaurant which is cheap but tasty. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The Thai Restaurant was amazing - getting to the Sky Cab was just walking distance, that's worth a visit. I did a Mangrove Tour which was pretty good... Most happening area of Langkawi. Only beach with sports activities like parasailing, water scooter, boats, kyaking etc. Lots of cafes around and and a big flee market with multiple duty free shops nearby. Above all underwater world is also at 2 mins of drive from pantai cenang beach.
