This is an excellent place to stay. It’s really close to the beach and to the main street. Check-in was easy, and the staff is just amazing. The bungalow is vell furnished with all amenities. The hotel is a dream! Everything is beautifully furnished and it's really super clean! The concept with the lounge and the kitchen is a really good idea! We received a very warm and friendly welcome. We are on our honeymoon and there was a surprise waiting in our room (see photo). A visit here is really something very special. We have extended our stay by a week because we like it so much. The staff are very accommodating, kind and friendly! Chanel and Miumiu (the hotel owner's cats (also super friendly!!) who visit from time to time in their little house) must also be mentioned! We would love to take them with us :) We would really like to say a big thank you to the team, especially to Sharkir, he is always in a good mood, very hardworking, super friendly and very accommodating!

A Tropical Jewel

Langkawi, as known as the jewel of Kedah, is the largest island in an archipelagio of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea. And a gem it certainly is, with lush scenery ranging from rice fields and rainforests to leaning palms on tropical beaches.

Of course, it’s the beaches that draw most visitors. Housing a good number of Langkawi hotels, Patai Cenang has the longest and most developed beach, and good nightlife. Neighbouring Pantai Tengah is more peaceful and a popular choice for families.

Langkawi Airport in the west is closest to Padang Matsirat. Just around the coast is the more secluded Burau Bay. The Telaga Tujuh waterfalls are nearby, and just north of its curving beach is the Langkawi Cable Car which travels into the heart of the rainforest, where the Sky Bridge provides amazing views.

Another sleepy beach is the northern Jalan Datai, home to a crocodile park. To the west Tanjung Rhu has one of the most scenic beaches, with bulbous, offshore islands reminiscent of many an action movie.

On the south of this duty-free island is the capital Kuah, whose most recognisable feature is the large eagle statue overlooking its harbour towards the islands beyond. This town has the largest concentration of apartments, motels and hotels in Langkawi on Booking.com.

A lovely beach resort that I was happy to return to for the second time! The rooms are clean, and the bathrooms are well-maintained. The beach is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of fun sports activities to enjoy. There’s also a nice outdoor swimming pool, perfect for relaxing. Just outside the hotel, there’s a street with great shops and restaurants, and two nearby supermarkets are open 24 hours, which is super convenient. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. One useful tip: if you're heading to the airport and need to leave before 7am make sure to arrange a taxi the day before, as ride-hailing apps don’t work for early bookings before that time. I love this hotel and will definitely stay here again!

We love everything about our stay, we came earlier at around 12pm and since our villa is available they allow us to check in early. Very nice welcome drink - we got peach tea Our villa is Soo spacious, the pool is the biggest I ever saw for a private villa so far and our room were totally beautiful. Food is great, breakfast is not a buffet but they have a variety of choice to choose from and we choose dining in room which is very convenient. Our minibar is free with lots of choice n free refill everytime we want. We have 2 TV in our villa with Soo many choice of channel and smart TV with Netflix too. Last but not least, staff was great , very friendly and Very helpful ,love them.

Everything. So peaceful sitting out in the open air section up in the rainforest canopy looking out to the water.. Got to see the monkeys climb by in the mornings. All the staff were so nice. The breakfast was delicious. Bit of a walk down to reception but you can get a lift. Just make sure you have everything before leaving the room. No problem when you're on island time. The outside bath was great too but just start running it a while before you want to go in as it takes time to fill up.

Beach was large and clean, good sand and great to walk or play. We liked the fact that there were lots of trees and garden around. Pools were great and the breakfast well balanced between local and international. Lots of places around to eat. The live band on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays were a nice way to relax in the evening or end the night. Lots of safe places for children to run around and play.

Pantai Cenang is a really happening place with lots of things to see and buy and lovely eating places as well. Just be prepared during the rainy season as the rain can come suddenly but it doesn't stay long so just find shelter somewhere and you'll be fine.

Kuah is just about decent but i would prefer the Cenang Beach area . If you can't get a hotel there, Kuah should be your next choice. The Island is small so you can get around in under 30 minutes to any spot of the island.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The Thai Restaurant was amazing - getting to the Sky Cab was just walking distance, that's worth a visit. I did a Mangrove Tour which was pretty good... I went on my own but a group tour might have been just as good.

Great beach, not to many people, good to watch the sunset. But lots of it is privat and your only allowed to walk along the shore in these parts, which is kinda sad and stupid as you wouldnt disturb anyone by staying there. but the public places are great too so not too much of a let down.

Its just a great vacation here.. the staff is so friendly and the place was just too great.. i wish they have a lift so that customer can bring up their stuff easily.. overall very satisfied and if have a chance will come again to this beautiful place..

The beach was clean, and the sea was calm, most of the time. There were lots of creatures both on the beach and in the water. There were also monkeys , birds, bats, colugos and squirrels, making it a great place to observe and learn about nature

Pantai Cenang is a beautiful beach with soft white sand, clear waters, and stunning sunsets. It’s lively and full of activities like water sports, boat rides, and plenty of beachfront restaurants and cafés. The area can get quite crowded in the evenings, but that also adds to its vibrant atmosphere. A great spot for families, couples, and anyone who enjoys a fun beach vibe.

Kuah was nice, the locals were very friendly and we found some restaurants that served great food, however, our accommodation could have been better. There were things in the apartment that did not work and we had a booking for 5 adults but there were only two coffee cups, four chairs. Lock on the balcony door didn't work and neither did the lock on bedroom 1 window. Also, it took a couple of days for the wi-fi to work correctly.

Malaysia itself is built on tourism use, I didnt like the fact that you have to pay to use bathrooms specially in touristic areas where you will spend already inside as there is food, shops and activities, and also you have to pay for a bathroom and extra for tissue. which made it a struggle if you walk with no money. most of the adventures are not priced you are given a different price and every tourist is given a different price, and the staff claim they dont know if you ask any question that would make them not profit. overall its a very beautiful city, but it is not a place I would go to again.

Its a sleepy place, not a party zone like pantai cenang.

Its a sleepy place, not a party zone like pantai cenang. Its a place to connect with nature and rest, just afew food places nearby, all of which are good, lovely spot for sunset watching. Perfect stay at eagle eye, romantic stay with my boyfriend. Very nice place to relax and spend time in nature.
