How am I going to put into words how absolutely wonderful Kifaru Bush Camp was?? One can not but feel welcome when you are personally greeted by Natalia Nailenge as you step out of the vehicle.Welcome rooibos tea cocktails offered by a smiling Hambeleleni Nakapandi. Dinner was from heaven for Chef Selma E Shigwedha prepared exeptional Oryx steaks with beautiful side dishes after our evening drive. Amber and Tristan Muller - manager/guide I booked an evening drive but only morning drives are done, but these two young people went above and beyond to make an evening drive possible and Richardo had lovely sundowner drinks and snacks ready and available on our arrival at the viewing area. Johannes controlled everything fire, from the inviting camp fire on arrival back from our drive to every room's boiler fire for our hot water. Not only was our visit and drive fantastic, it was also educational. Amber and Tristan shared their passion for protecting the rhino in their care and about the 'Rhino Momma Project" 'More time to visit' is definitely on my list for next time.

The lodge is located in a beautiful scenery with lots of anals around. To get to Etosha Anderson's gate takes about one hour. On the way to the park there is a petrol station and a shop where you can buy some snacks, souvenires and drinks. Okutala Etosha Lodge offers comfortable cottages nicely furnished with a tarrace where you can sit and admire nuture. People there are very hospitable and caring. For damanding customers the set menu for dinner might be the weskest point. Anyway, we came there to enjoy the beauty of the place and we were amazed by it.

Danjan and Anita are both wonderful hosts. We felt very welcome at the guest farm and wanted for nothing. They were very knowledgable about the area and it’s history and it was interesting to hear a local farmers perspective. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent and better than most of the commercial lodges we stayed at. Anita baked lovely fresh bread for each meal. The view from the chalet was beautiful and the room itself was huge and well equipped. It says not self catering but there is a small kitchen and you could make some meals if you really wanted. We would definitely stay again

Our experience at Tarentaal Guest Farm was absolutely magical, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our time in Namibia. From the moment we arrived, Piet and Mariana Gouws made us feel like part of their family, offering a warm welcome that set the tone for our entire stay. Their genuine hospitality and passion for their beautiful farm truly made the difference. The guesthouse itself is a peaceful oasis, with beautifully decorated rooms that were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The garden and surroundings are simply stunning, offering a perfect blend of tranquillity and nature. We enjoyed many relaxing moments here, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the farm. What really made our stay special, though, were the hosts. Piet’s knowledge of the local area was invaluable, and he was always eager to share interesting stories and tips to make our trip even better. Mariana’s cooking was a highlight of each day – delicious, hearty meals that were always prepared with love. Dining with the other guests around a communal table felt like sharing a meal with old friends.
