- From $128.83 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 403 reviewsI cannot speak highly enough of this facility. Unfortunately my vehicle had broken down near Halali in Etosha. The NWR staff were rude and completely unhelpful and the facilities were woeful. I managed to get alternative transport arrange privately and to have my vehicle towed but was unable to make it home to Swakopmund and booked here to rest before the last leg of our journey home. I was greeted near the carpark by a lovely staff member, she showed me to reception and to my room after checking in. She also asked about any allergies we have which was so appreciated traveling with my coeliac 9 yr old. The rooms are immaculate and well appointed. Honestly when we travel to Etosha with guests from back in Aus we normally spend the first night at Okaukuejo, now I have found this gem with their beautiful staff we will stay here prior to venturing further into Etosha. This facility is really amazing and value for money far exceeds the “resorts” in the national park itself!Guest review byRuthNamibia
- From $460.46 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 215 reviewsThe staff was so welcoming and helpful. The food was good and plentiful for such a remote location. The tent, including the facilities, was very clean and refreshed twice a day. The tour gides are very knowleageble and eager to answer your questions. Lots of wild life roams arround, you can enjoy watching from your tent balcony. I want to give special thanks to Teresa - front desk, Waka and Jona - tour gides, Lydia - restaurant/bar . You all made my stay memorable and so relaxing.Guest review bySonyaUnited States

The food was absolutely perfect — felt like dining at a top restaurant every day. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and always went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Our room was spotless, cozy, and cleaned daily with great attention to detail. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place — would definitely come back!Guest review byArianaUnited States
- From $71.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 496 reviewsThis place is a gem. Happy we stayed here. Pool is beautiful- well kept. Views are outside this world. The staff was amazing - always there when we needed a cold drink by the pool. Dinner and breakfast also surprised us for the price of the room. Full of options like in a european hotel. There is also a hiking route were local dogs usually takes guests- recommended! Good wi-fi!Guest review byRingooooDenmark
- From $238.29 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 500 reviewsEverything is simply amazing. The rooms, the food, the staff. They are 15 minutes from the Andreseen Gate to enter Etosha so I recommend it staying there instead of the overpriced, worn off Okaukuejo lodge. They also have chitas, leopards and lions to check out on site! I highly recommend! I travelled two weeks across Africa and this was the best facility we stayed!! Thank you!Guest review byIgorUnited States

We spent two nights here…it was the right amount of time to view animals in Etosha National Park. The terrain here (unlike Numatoni) is vast and flat. Animals are few and far between but with persistance and great binoculars we spotted a Black Rhinocerous, elephants, zebra, springbok, oryx, giraffe, ostriches, and 1 lion, all during daylight hours. The food is best OUTSIDE the park. There is NO fuel in the ENTIRE park! The “Trading Post” is the nearest fuel to this village (less than 10km). Fuel is CRITICAL for planning in rural Namibia!Guest review byCharlesGermany - 10

Our second visit to this lovely Sasa camp, just because of the unique scenery to the Ugab valley and with it's charming natural stone cottages. The considerate hosts & delicious food from the kitchen crowned our visit again - thank you so much!Guest review byTuomoFinland - 4.0
We were disappointed by the extremely bad roads in the park.
We were disappointed by the extremely bad roads in the park. There is no information about the rugged dirt roads in the park. We were happy to leave the park without an accident or car broken. No good for self drive! There were no animals at the waterhole in Okaukuejo...Guest review byJiřiCzech Republic - 10

There is quite a bit to see in Outjo and the surrounding area. Outjo itself is a pleasant small town and it is within easy reach of the Etosha National Park, Twyfelfontein, the Petrified Forest and Vingerklip.Guest review bySabatini Fox - 6.0

Outjo is not a very clean town but ideal stop over for travelers on their way to or from Etosha. Visitors can also by essential supplies for their on-going travels. An excellent and reasonably priced place to eat is at the Farmhouse Boutique in town, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner under the shady trees.Guest review byAndras GNamibia
