Everything !! We were lucky to be in the executive suite nbr 2 which is the best room of the hotel. We had an amazing view on the forest and the sea, and the hot tub all for ourselves as the other suite was not booked.
The suite was huge, well equipped with a coffee machine, plates, cups, and glasses. Tea, coffee, and sugar at disposal. The beds were super comfy and the huge sofa was awesome to wait for the northern lights.
The breakfast was delicious and very varied. I got addicted to their waffles.
The receptionist was exceptional with us. He helped us with the ferry, explained how it worked, even assisted in planning a back-up itinerary in case we didn’t get it.
They also arranged an early breakfast, as we had to leave at 7:30, so they opened the restaurant one hour earlier just for us. We really had an exceptional stay.
We’ve read somewhere that the owners have changed and I can vouch that all the previous bad reviews that were written about that place do not reflect the reality now and the amazing experience we had.
One thing to be aware of: only the executive suites have access to the hot tub, and only the suite nbr 2 has a view on the forest.

We stayed at both the lighthouse and the aurora sea view cabin. They were both super clean and cozy. Very good showers with high water pressure. Quiet, peaceful surroundings with amazing views. Meals were delicious, especially the fish soup. The host, Hege, was so nice, always attentive and very helpful. When she knew our next destination is Sommarøy, she initiated to check for us whether the car ferry route to Sommarøy would actually open on that day(because it was just after Christmas holidays).
Was a really wonderful experience staying at Norwegian Wild, definitely recommend it !

Super cozy apartment and absolutely amazing host! The apartment was comfortable, warm and equipped with everything you need, with a beautiful view from the living room window. Kristin was always available for contact, extremely nice and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back one day!

Great setting and place in so many ways. Make your own food or enjoy the great restaurant at the pier. Great with the sauna and relax. Very good service and helpful in so many ways. I will be back a Mefjord for sure hopefully already this summer!

A nice area to visit and so different from many places in...
A nice area to visit and so different from many places in Norway. The countryside is so different from part to parts on the island of Senja. The same with the local people, more quiet at the inner part/Eastern side of the island. Then more outspoken and louder when to speak to the ones on the Western side of the island.
Great place to visit if you are to lock for the Aurora Borealis, and also close to Tromsoe. Either by a car or just for a day-trip with different boats.

Torsken is beautifully situated, but the road there is terrible and ends in the village. When visiting other parts of Senja, you have to drive back and forth over the mountain on the poor road. Nevertheless, Torsken is definitely worth a visit, and the quality of the facilities offered by Senja by Heart is high.
