- From US$180.79 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,384 reviewsWe had a great stay, the room was very comfortable, with a modern look. There was free parking available, with enough spaces for everyone. We were lucky enough for clear skies, so you could see the clear night sky right from the room balcony, although going further from the lights was a lot better. The view was awesome and it was very quiet, we loved it! The food at the hotel restaurant was very good, although we paid more attention to the menu we received at checkin than the actual serving times for the food and didn't get there in time for actual food and had to go with the finger food option (which were big portions anyway and good).Guest review byk_crysaRomania
- From US$392.01 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,097 reviewsThis place was truly amazing. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 It surpassed the Hermitage Hotel by far, with exceptional facilities and a warm welcome from the owner. The unobstructed view of Mount Cook and the welcoming presence of the super cute duck couple added to the charm. 🦆🦆The spa facilities were absolutely perfect. Everything felt new and well-maintained, and the rooms were cozy and incredibly comfortable. I had also stayed at the Hermitage Hotel, but I was truly disappointed by its higher price and inadequate amenities. I am so grateful for the experience here🥰🌏🏔️Guest review byjiinAustralia

Mount Cook Village is a great location if you are planning to do some walks in the area. We did the Hooker Valley Track, Sealy Tarn Track, and the Tasman Glacier View after which we were exhausted and travelling to another location would have been a bit much. Staying at the village was the best decision. At night you can travel slightly out to get the most exceptional views of stars and in the morning you wake up to unbelievably beautiful views of mountains. If you are lucky you might just get some snow.Guest review byWaldoNew Zealand - 8.0

Awesome landscape views and friendly info center staff, but some tourist sites such asTasman Glacier and White of the toilets had signs "Closed during Winter", which was so inconvenient for tourists.Guest review byDebSouMacao - 8.0

Hooker valley trek is the main attraction there and it is closed right now The alternate to that trek is the Sealy Tarns trek which is pretty okay There are not too many options to eat there so it is a better option to buy your own food before you get here as there arent grocery shops here as well.Guest review byJayden - 10.0
We loved the convenient location of the mount cook village.
We loved the convenient location of the mount cook village. It was nice being so close to the hermitage where all the activities were based from. Even though the motel/lodge was less luxurious than the hermitage, the rooms were still very lovely (and had heated floors!). Although it wasn't the best value compared to other hotels we stayed in during our trip, the convenient location makes it very worth it.Guest review byAnonymous
