AustraliaTides is perfectly located on the river, we had a river view room which was nice (would have been nicer if the weather had been better but hey what can you do about the weather)
Our breakfasts were fabulous and dinner was amazing we highly recommend dining at Tides.
All the staff were absolutely beautiful friendly people

CanadaWe loved our stay here. We used it as a base to hike Abel Tasman. We forgot out jackets here and the staff had it curriered to our next place and it arrived there when we got there. Loved the washer and dryer in the suite small kitchen and perfect location. Easy walk to town centre.

Nelson has a lot of speciality stores and a lot of food options. The Markets in the weekends are not for those looking for a bargain but do support local and NZ made and although some were costly, there was a lot of selection of goodies. Stoke the Bach Restaurant was staffed with lovely young girls, and the food was excellent and value for money The Arden Monaco where we stayed has limited room facilities and is not staffed outside of working hours, but the beds are comfortable and with very dark woodwork old paintings and very heavy doors, the facility was well equipped with heat pumps and hot water.Guest review byKimNew Zealand - 10.0

Loved the friendly people, very creative and arty outlets, and artists, lovely eateries and markets, lots to do and see. We unfortunately got caught in the bad weather and were stranded for two more days - would have been great, but too wet and flooded to do anything else.
