Everything was excellent. The food was plentyfull and An excellent quality. The staff were wonderful, extremely friendly and always ready to help and serve. The room was of the highest standard. You do not find many hotels as good as this either in the Philippines or elsewhere. And such great value for money.

The location is very central and was a great choice for us. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. The room absolutely clean. I really liked that the laundry service was very quick, reasonably priced and available throughout the day. The staff felt very relaxed, attending and polite. Everyone was very friendly and eager to help with anything.

    i stay here when i'm in iloilo. always a great experience with the hotel room and staff. my last stay here was exceptional. the front desk person i think her name was Nicole was extremely helpful in getting me an early check-in. the bell hop was also very helpful. the whole staff in general all seem to really like and care about their guest.     Carles is disappointing, specifically the Bancal/Wharf surrounding areas. The place is dirty, no place to eat if you are staying overnight and the heavy trucks traffic due to wharf construction is terrible. I can perfectly understand why visitors to Isla de Gigantes arrive there early in the morning, do the island hoping tours and get out of there as soon as they can at the end of the day. On the positive side, the Tourism information and ticket facilities and wharf are decent. The island are beautiful and worth putting up with everything else to see them.

    We loved our city tour esp. to the Garin Farm, Balay na Bato where we had a taste of hot choco and molo soup, visited various churches and tried the Roberto's siopao (so big that one is good for 2 persons), the famous Ilongo batchoy. We also explored Guimaras and our tour to Gigantes Islands is unforgettable esp. with the unli scallops served for lunch at the Lantangan beach.

    Carles is a beautiful location in the Philippines. I've stayed at multiple locations; Salina, Beach Head, Chateau De Aow which all meet or exceeded expectations. I would recommend all three of these properties based on my personal experience and the information provided on Booking.com.

    If you are a lover of history, churches, and definitely FOOD...then this is the place to be. The people are genuinely friendly and helpful. If you come during the festival Dinagyang in January,you will be in for a treat..fun,foodfest,vibrant colours and music.

    Carles is a small provincial town, this establishment is probably one of the biggest employers,, compared with the poor general environment of the area the establishment sticks out as a luxury point known to everybvody in town. Smoking is tolerated on the balconies and one feels well in the place. One disadvantage: is that you cannot take your car to the bungalows to park it there,, but you have to park it at a central park place near the entry to the resort and this resort is big! However, there are plenty of service vehicles moving around before one of them will pick you up to take you where you want to goin the resort. Visiting the shops in Carles is no problem if you have a car, but there is plenty of trikes and taxis everywhere!
