- From US$118.26 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 316 reviewsWe were staying here for the second time, so it became really familiar for us. Brilliant location - just few minutes walk to sea side. Really tasty breakfast - you could choose from special breakfast menu (different types of egg dishes, waffles, pancakes, oatmeal). Helpful stuff and spacious room with comfortable bed. Private time in spa is also included in stay price - really great extra bonus for stay. We really felt all small details, so we believe that all those stars is kindly deserved.Guest review byAiraLithuania

I’ve probably been to Gdańsk a dozen times, and I still discover something new on each visit. It’s about 20 minutes by taxi from the international airport. I try to stay close to the Old Town so I can be there within minutes. It’s a lovely place for a stroll along the historic streets, to listen to the bells and soak up the city’s old-world charm. There are countless museums both in and just outside the centre. Honestly, they’re all worth a visit — from the Town Hall and St Mary’s Church with its breathtaking viewing platform, to smaller niche museums, and the grand, historically significant ones like the Museum of the Second World War and the European Solidarity Centre. Plan half a day for each of those big hitters, ideally on separate trips to this wonderful city. I’d also recommend a cruise on one of the schooner-style boats. They head to the port, where you can see vast ships on the shipyard slipways and a variety of vessels from around the world loading in Gdańsk’s harbour — a mesmerising sight. If you get chilly, they serve hot mulled wine on board to warm you up in grim weather. Shoppers will find plenty of malls to enjoy. There are loads of restaurants, including Michelin-recognised spots where you can have an unforgettable meal with a bird’s-eye view over Gdańsk by night. Nearby Sopot and Gdynia are just 20–30 minutes away by taxi; each deserves its own write-up. There’s a zoo not far from the city for children, and history lovers can use a car-sharing service to visit Malbork Castle — the largest in Europe — with engaging exhibitions and an amber museum. Come December, the city turns into a Christmas fairy tale. If you’re lucky enough to be in Gdańsk for Christmas, the carved townhouses dusted with snow, the festive spirit, and the big Christmas market by the old city gates will win you over. Gdańsk is a place you’ll want to come back to.Guest review byMichael ZamyslovNorway - 10

We easily found the Grand Hotel and long wooden pier where my mother had photos taken in 1946 when she was 17. It was important for us to visit Sopot for that reason. We liked the Ilusion Museum in the crooked house and Sopot Museum, Krzywy Domek. We also liked the Oceanarium and lunch on the pirate ship in Gdynia and our visit and lunch in Gdansk.Guest review byZofiaUnited Kingdom - 10

Because of time constrains, we didn't really see much of Gdynia itself. Our youngsters went to the beach and the jetty and loved it. We believe you should have at least 3 days for this beautiful city to get to know it a bit.Guest review byBernie2019Germany - 8.0
Small but comfortable room with big enough bed.
Small but comfortable room with big enough bed. There is all basic things one needs for a night before/after an early/late flight, but a kettle, as buffet is not 24/7 and there is no shop at the corner or anything.Guest review byChaikovskyi - 10

Gdańsk is a beautiful city with many interesting places to visit that are easy to walk to. Plenty of choice for cafes and restaurants centrally. Short trips, for example, Malbork Castle are also easily reached by car. We have visited twice and still not seen everything.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10
Sopot is a beach city, so it has a beach vibe.
Sopot is a beach city, so it has a beach vibe. There are places to spend quiet time as well as partying. Lots of good restaurants and cocktail bars, regarding service and food. There are not a lots of tourist attraction to see, but if someone wants a peaceful and relaxing vacation Sopot is the perfect place. People are also very helpful there. I did not use the public transport, mostly walked, it is a very walkable city. I took long walk in the northern park where you can walk inside a forest as well as by the beach., that's the place I liked most.Guest review byDola - 10

It's not common to visit Gdynia in winter but it has its charms. The food for instance, Pierogi at Mandu, was tasty and plentiful. We caught a movie in Helios cinema, which requires travelling one stop on the SKM suburban train. From Gdynia you can travel to "the beginning of Poland", the Hel peninsula. The village is definitely worth a visit. We managed to see as many as four seals in the sea :) You can do ship or bird watching - depending on your preference - from the beach, the views are great.Guest review byPawełPoland - 10

Gdańsk is a lovely place with charming neighborhoods, great restaurants, and friendly people. One of the nicest cities I’ve visited in Poland. I felt safe and relaxed the entire time, it was well worth the trip. I walked a lot and also drove around quite a bit, including a visit to Sopot, which was lively and fun. I had delicious ramen at Gyozilla, an amazing donut in Sopot, and enjoyed tea from a few gas stations along the way. Thank you, Gdańsk. I’ll be back.Guest review byAlexSpain - 10

Having travelled to many parts of Poland in the past I was a little sceptical when our walking tour guide told us Gdansk is the best Polish city to visit I was wrong. The city is a real jewel and well worth visiting, with a rich history, interesting architecture and museums and some great restaurants and bars. I would definitely recommend a city break there and a walking tour, along with a river cruise and the WW2 museum.Guest review byROBERTUnited Kingdom - 10

Perfect spot to cover Sopot, Gdansk and Gdynia, you could keep your plan flexible based on the weather, if warm, stay in the beach if cooler, explore the cities ( we went to the WW2 Museum, the petting zoo, Solidarity museum) there is also an aquapark which we didn't go as the weather was great outdoors.Guest review byLaviCzech Republic
