Simply one of the best hotels in the last years (Stayed in many hotels like Hyatt etc and Top 20 in Asia). Very exclusive interior, super nice smell in the entire hotel, exceptionally clean and superior treatment by the staff. We were there during the black out that hit Portugal and Spain and the very calm and professional handling of the staff in such an exceptional event, can not be described in words. It was simply brilliant. Also the restaurant is very exquisite.

The ocean view room was very comfortable. Everything you would expect from a 5-star hotel. But what makes it an even better hotel is the quality of the staff. Every single person was very nice and so helpful, from the reception to the restaurant to the spa. Great hotel, we will be back!

My recent stay at Vila Bicuda Apartment Resort in Cascais, Portugal, was an absolutely delightful experience, particularly suitable for both families and couples. The resort's maintenance is noteworthy, showcasing an exceptional level of upkeep and cleanliness. The proximity of essential services adds to the convenience of this location. A bakery and coffee shop are just a stone's throw away, ideal for morning refreshments. Additionally, the presence of a restaurant ensures that dining options are readily available. The inclusion of a laundry shop, along with a hairdresser and nail salon, further enhances the convenience factor of this resort. One of the standout features of Vila Bicuda is the daily cleaning service, ensuring a continuously pristine environment throughout our stay. Initially, my plan was for a brief visit of a couple of days, but the ambiance and facilities led me to extend my stay to approximately 10 days. The provision of free parking right at the villa is a significant advantage, especially for those traveling with vehicles. Furthermore, each villa comes with a fully equipped kitchen, which is ideal for those preferring home-cooked meals or staying for longer durations. Speaking of longer stays, the resort also offers long-term rental options, which could be a great choice for extended vacations or remote working scenarios. In conclusion, my experience at Vila Bicuda was nothing short of remarkable. The combination of excellent facilities, convenient services, and a beautiful setting makes it a top recommendation. I am eagerly looking forward to returning for a longer stay in the future.

Wonderful Stay Experience I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the brilliant breakfast and the exceptional service from all the hotel staff. Everyone was extremely polite and friendly, which truly enhanced our experience. We enjoyed everything about our stay, although we did notice that the indoor pool is only accessible to kids from 9:00-11:00 and 15:00-19:00. Aside from that, everything was fantastic! The reception team was incredibly welcoming, and the manager was outstanding as well. Overall, I give a heartfelt 10/10 to the entire team for their excellent service. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

Beach and rugged cliff coastline was a good combo .

Beach and rugged cliff coastline was a good combo . Excellent choices of restaurants from higher end ( Bougain) and simpler but good . The Paula Rego centre was a major draw for me and I wasn’t disappointed . Pretty parks to stroll in the shade too. The harbour and beaches are buzzing. If I’d have had longer I’d have hired a bike and cycled along to Estoril and the other direction to the lighthouse and beaches . The train service along the coast is reasonably priced and reliable. You could stay in Cascais and do day visits to Lisbon easily . Also easy to use train to get to Sintra.

Oeiras is a suburb of Lisbon, so not overwhelmed by tourists. We found some great places to eat that were appreciative of our custom. There was a fantastic vegan restaurant just outside the town centre (Alma Veg). The main problem for us was the ddual carriageway that passes right by the beaches.

Paco de Arcos was a short 20 minute ride from the airport and just outside the city center. It is a quaint town, quiet and had great restaurants, lovely people and easy access to both train transit and beaches. You can walk all the way to Lisbon along the waterfront with many beaches and landmarks. We did a day trip to Cascais via the train and were completely at ease for our entire stay. Our best outing was a day trip to visit many of the Knight's Templar historical sites with a local guide who was a history buff and shared much of his knowledge with us.

The area was full of Quality built property with lots of trees, there were a good choice of supermarkets, the beaches were good, plenty of resturants bars and cafes, there was a nice small park.I dont go out drinking and I did not have details of any alternative evening activities, except for the excellent 4 evenings of musical entertainment at cascais festival. I ate all my meals at save the world hostels as it was my plan to walk and sight see in the morning take a break at lunchtime and do the same in the afternoon and read my books as well.Pingo Doice supermarket you could get a cup of coffee and a custard tart in their cafe for 1 euro.At Aldi Supermarket you could buy a packet of Markus Bio ground coffee (exc) Spar Supermarket exc choices only 7 mins away.

It's a cosy little apartment, very well situated, with a lovely large patio, garden with swimming pool. However, being at the garden level I was surprised at how dark it was during the daytime. The kitchen and bathroom definitely need an upgrade for the price they are asking. Overall, a comfortable place for a short visit.

Estoril is ideal for singles, couples and families who want a relaxing break away. There are plenty of hotels, bars, cafes and restaurants but there isn’t a specific area or ‘strip’ of these, they are just dotted around. The casino and its garden are a dominant and attractive focal point so there are a few places near to it. There’s Portuguese food, of course, but also Italian, Chinese, Indian and Japanese. You can get fish and seafood dishes of any sort but there’s also lots of steak on offer. Prices are very reasonable. Some people travel in and out of the town specifically and solely to use the beach by day or the casino by night, some to attend events at the glamorous looking fort on the beach, so the town isn’t dead but it can feel quiet at certain times. It’s definitely a chilled out place to stay in. There are only a few local shops for groceries and not really any souvenir shops. In my opinion, it has more of a local, residential vibe and isn’t touristy. For a change of scene, by train Cascais is just a 5 minute ride away or Lisbon is about 40 minutes away. It’s great to visit either and then escape the crowds by returning to Estoril! There is currently a replacement bus service in operation after 9pm (not sure how easy that is to use) but at other times the trains are very frequent and inexpensive.
