The place doubles up as student dormitory and a hotel and had really neat social areas. Things like pool and table tennis available for free. The biggest surprise was the laundry on site had no charge. Just simply download their app and book a machine. Plus that beautiful McDonald's is literally a 5 min walk down the hill.

The property is perfect. Brand new, super clean with great design and the friendliest staff ever met. Miguel and Mariana went over beyond our hospitality expectations! They welcomed us with warm, helped us with all the needs we had regarding the hotel and the city. One day we wanted to watch a tv programme from our country and Miguel carried another TV in order to have the connectivity with our laptop. The most amazing gesture we ever had. We definitely recommend the place anytime you wish to visit Porto!!!!

The breakfast buffet is beautifully presented. Every thing is very fresh and refilled quickly. The staff does an amazing job of making sure that every guest has everything they need. Lovely experience. I was especially pleased that the buffet mamagee asked if I had any food allergies on my first visit and remembered on subsequent visits. Little detail that kept me safe and I appreciate it.

From the moment we stepped in to the Rebello, we felt warmly received and the hotel was very welcoming. The decor is simple but up to date, and well maintained. Our room was a river view one bedroom and it truly exceeded our expectations. The staff were extremely helpful, and breakfast was superb. Very nice staff. The room was big, clean with modern stylish furniture and decor. The view from the room was beautiful. Heated pool. Excellent breakfast. Very spacious underground parking costs 15 euros a night. Short drive or tram away from the centre. Perfect if you come to porto with a car.

Very friendly and helpful staff, specially Naira. The hotel is very new and i liked the design. The location is very good and metro stations und very close. Also there are many restaurant and bar in walking distance. All in all a great stay, i can really reccomend it and would be my choice for my next stay as well.

Of course The Yeatman is tradionally Porto's finest hotel, certainly one of them, in most people's estimation. It remains a luxurious, charming and fascinating building and a superb place to stay or eat. The surroundings are elegant, classic and yet modern. The views across the river back to Porto itself are unbeatable. The multi-level design of the building set a precedent that has since been followed many times in Vila Nova de Gaia. All the restaurants are excellent. It's expensive, but relatively reasonable in shoulder season or off season. On this visit, I enjoyed as always seeing a bird of prey - a Harris Hawk, my cousin tells me based on photos - being used to scare off other creatures, and the lift interiors with their clever wall to wall panoramas of the Douro Valley and a wine cellar. Finally, it was sweet to be in a room named "Quinta do Crasto" after one of my favourite Douro wines!

The hotel is big and beautiful.The location is OK.It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach.The pools are decisive.The food is fresh and varied.The staff is very friendly.Everything is very clean and beautiful.We were also given a drink of wellcomen, a traditional Portuguese wine that was very tasty. We had a room for 2 people.The room is large with plenty of space.The bathroom is also big and clean. The balcony is solid.The hotel is very modern.The pool is clean and beautiful.The breakfast was excellent.If you want to go to Porto, you will need a taxi and you will be there in about 20 minutes.

We booked Quinta do Pedregal for 4 nights for my birthday trip. Our stay was simply excellent ! Our room/lodge was so cosy, clean and made/decorated with taste. The staff and their attention to details and to their clients was exceptional, we felt well taken care of. They spoke to us in our native language the whole time, they were all kind and super helpful. Special thank you to Raphaela. The spa amenities were amazing too and clean. The food at the restaurant for breakfast and also for one dinner we had there was made with fresh ingredients only and was wonderful. Thank you again !

Very clean, and the personnel was quite helpful, I was worried about so many negative comments about the breakfast selection, but I can say that there was plenty to choose from (fruits and sweets and yogurts) and good coffee, and the top thing was the fresh orange juice machine which was a first and a surprise. Towels and soap in the bathroom and the windows can be opened on the first floor. There is also a bottle that can be refilled with drinkable water from the machine next to elevator.

Porto is a much more beautiful and atmospheric city than Lisbon. It is livable, fresh and colorful, with an endless number of attractions, wonderful buildings, cozy squares, restaurants. The city view is amazing, the wines are divine, everyone tastes them and the local delicacies too.

Due to poor weather, a week in October, we couldn't get to explore and enjoy the local area as much as we would have liked. Matosinhos beach is fabulous, surfers out every day, but too cold and windy for swimming. Would consider returning again in summertime

This place gets a well-deserved 5 stars—no doubt about it! From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, cozy, and totally like home. It’s huge, sparkling clean, and honestly… it looks even better than in the photos (and that’s saying something!). Usually with apartments that look this good, you think: “Yeah right, too good to be true.” But nope—this one actually turned out to be better than too good! It’s got everything. And I mean everything: coffee machine, iron, washing machine, dishwasher… you name it, it’s there—and all in tip-top shape. We were just the two of us, but there’s more than enough space for 4 or even 6 people to hang out comfortably. And the view… wow. Just wow. Need a room with a view? Look no further—this is the one!

The walk along the beach and the boardwalks close to the town are great. If you do not have a car, then train station is close by. It's a small beachside town and loved the chilled and relaxed vibe of Espinho

There are many good restaurants in the area. We hired a car for the duration of our stay as we wanted to travel further afield whilst adding stops along the way and choosing the most scenic routes.

See my previous comments, please. No need to repeat the same kudos and complaints! Also: No place to park! How can the city approve building a new hotel without either a designated parking lot or underground parking? And: The hotel accepts small pets. A good thing! But there's nowhere around the hotel for pets to be walked and do their business.

The location was very close to the beach.

The location was very close to the beach. It was a bit noisy in the evenings because restaurants and nightlife were literally right outside the door. Leca has a beautiful long beach and a variety of restaurants including one 2-Michelin star restaurant.

I had returned from a holiday in the UK and needed to stay near the airport as it was a night time arrival. The suites are just a 5 minute walk from the airport, and also very close to a metro station for getting into Porto. I stayed in a different apartment the night before my trip, however, I wish I had known about these suites as I would also have stayed here the night before my outward journey. Conveniently located is an excellent, traditional Portuguese restaurant just along the street. Big portions, friendly staff - some speak English - and very inexpensive. The rooms are more than what you need, and the shared kitchen area with complementary breakfast are an added bonus. It is also possible to cook in the kitchen as there is a cooker and fridge. A great place to stay.
