The staff are AMAZING! So friendly - above and beyond. The room is simple and clean, the beds were comfortable. I felt safe. The location is really central if you like to explore the bustling town. We walked to 2 excellent restaurants within 5 minutes. They accommodated us with an early breakfast when we were trekking and a packed lunch for purchase. Amazing samosas. Thank you Garden Place Hotel!!

Makeri Residence saved us. We were booked in an accommodation with no running water and were so happy to move to Makeri. We stayed for 1 week, happily. The rooms are very nice and well designed. Mostly importantly, they have real showers with hot water and good water pressure (they have a special pump). The property is new and beautifully isolated from the town/streets of Musanze. They have lovely staff, a washing machine, good Wi-Fi, and secure parking. They provide breakfast and dinners which were simple but nice. For the price, this place is a dream.
