We were a family of 4 adults and found the quad room perfect for our needs, very spacious and allowing enough privacy from our two sons. Kelly was a great host, very accommodating in allowing us to check in early and full of helpful advice on local hikes and excursions. Breakfast was fabulous with fresh pastries, good coffee and lots of hot and cold options. The hotel is well located, close to the bus stop and only a short walk to the lake. The Foksner restaurant nearby specializes in gourmet burgers which hit the spot after a long day in the hills. Highly recommend hiring kayaks for a morning on the lake. Happy memories and many thanks.

this is one of the most spectacularly beautiful hotels I have ever visited. the timber exterior and interiors are beautiful. the staff are super smart, helpful, direct and honest, and the quality of the restaurant was excellent

We stayed at Bohinj River House before and after a multi day hike in the Julian Alps and it was the perfect base! The apartment and facilities are new, modern and very comfortable. We particularly loved the spa facilities and the wonderful inclusive breakfast. The staff were so kind and friendly and truly went above and beyond to help us out with anything we needed. Would highly recommend.

We loved it! Hotel is just amazing. We stayed there during our hike trip in Bohinj and we loved it. Staff is helpful, nice and wants you to feel like a superstar. Wellness was also amazing and we had the luck to be alone. Breakfest is so delicious, especially healthy smoothie.

The relaxing massages. A place full of nature, very close to the lake and waterfalls. We were also able to go kayaking and visit Slovenian villages. The staff was also friendly and the accommodation was very clean.

Great location - just two minutes from Lake Bohinj itself. The hotel was full during our stay, but it was not noticeable at all because everything was quiet and tidy, and the guests we saw were very polite. The staff is very friendly. The room we stayed in was large, with a living room, a bedroom and a quite standard nice toilet and a small balcony. The breakfast was extraordinary - a large selection of sweet, savory, cereals, teas, pastries...
