lubljana reminded me of trieste,, almost as nice as Trieste. instead of the sea, and the harbor, there is a river and "picturesque" views from the bridge above it. That's in the main centre. Slovenia is great.
Slovenia is great. Alps on the east, mediterranean sea on the west, same country, distinctively different climate on each end of the country. Beautiful nature, castles, lovely valleys with rivers and waterfalls, unspeakably beautiful historic castles etc. We stayed in Domzale only, did not go out to the city, but the location is great.
