We particularly loved the spa facilities and the wonderful inclusive breakfast. The staff were so kind and friendly and truly went above and beyond to help us out with anything we needed. Would highly recommend.

New ZealandWhat a lovely hotel. Everything was a little bit 'up market' so made us feel special staying here. Our rate included dinner & breakfast and both were great. Then dinner was classy and delicious, the waiting staff wonderful. Breakfast was an excellent buffet, really good thank you. The room was comfortable, good bed. All staff were very helpful, great service.

We were a family of 4 adults and found the quad room perfect for our needs, very spacious and allowing enough privacy from our two sons. Kelly was a great host, very accommodating in allowing us to check in early and full of helpful advice on local hikes and excursions. Breakfast was fabulous with fresh pastries, good coffee and lots of hot and cold options. The hotel is well located, close to the bus stop and only a short walk to the lake. The Foksner restaurant nearby specializes in gourmet burgers which hit the spot after a long day in the hills. Highly recommend hiring kayaks for a morning on the lake. Happy memories and many thanks.

Our host was very welcoming, communicative and respectable. The apartment had all the necessities such as oven, freezer, fridge and so on, and was well taken care of. Even had a small fitness center to use at the bottom of the house.
The apartment and it's surroundings were very quiet and serenical with only birds' chiriping after 8 o'clock.
The location of the apartment was just near the bohinjska bistrica station with an astounding view to the mountains. We were stunned about how clean and authentic the city felt.
Will recommend the village and the apartment for everyone that is interested in visiting Slovenia. Thank you!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL chalet. We were lucky to get A1, with a separate bedroom upstairs. Amazing view of the mountain, super comfortable bed and couch. Fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Great little coffee machine. Well located for vogel ski resort (walkable, about 800m) and very near hiking trails.
Cannot speak highly enough of friendliness and communication of the host.
Extremely good value for money. Perfect for a family, or honeymoon destination. The Valley is unbelievably beautiful, and Aplik is so perfectly located for a getaway. We would love to return in the summer.

What a find! Perfectly positioned near the spectacular Bohinj lake and Vogel resort, close to supermarket, info centre and restaurants. The apartment was spotlessly clean, two huge comfortable beds, large and beautifully designed bathroom, oven, kettle, toaster and other kitchen facilities. The host was very informative, friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the beautiful Bohinj area.

The hotel has its own restaurant with fantastic domestic and well prepared food. The staff was very friendly, always available for everything you need. Apartment was on the ground floor, with terrace and has everything you need for short or long stay-ideal for couples. Free of charge parking is available in front of the hotel.

We enjoyed our time there! The owner and everyone were supernice and helpful. The room is nice and clean, with an amazing view on the mountains. We would've appreciate more plugs in the room, especially around the bed, but except that, everything was perfect!

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake...
We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

The breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of food and a great variety. The food was really delicious. We truly enjoyed the accommodation, and the hotel owner was lovely, helping us with every question and everything we needed. We got caught in the snow in the mountains, and the hotel owner drove us in his own car – it was so kind and definitely not something to be taken for granted. I highly recommend this place ☺️

The town of Bohinjska Bistrica didn't impress us but the Bohinj lake a few kilometers away is the main attraction anyway and it is beautiful. There is a nice cyclepath from Bohinjska Bistrica to the lake with a few steep parts and soon the whole cyclepath from lake Bled to Bohinj will be completed. There are also some other routes around Bohinjska Bistrica but the area might be a bit constricted for serious cyclists. In July and August there is too much traffic for serious road cycling if you don't like a lot of traffic but we were told that from September it is much more quiet.

I love the Julian Alps for their stunning natural beauty. Everything is nearby, and you can choose from waterfalls, gorges, hiking trails, or enjoy water sports on the lake. If you enjoy outdoor activities in nature, this is a perfect destination for you.

Good location - just the middle between Bohinj and Bled lakes. Quiet area but in the morning we heard some cars from distant route and also train once per day. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. We got free pack of local eggs on arrive.
We were living in upper floor. The accommodation had everything we need for nice stay. The beds are a bit hard and noisy. Also I would add nets on the windows because there is no AC and opening window at night time might cause problems with mosquitos.

For those who love nature, quietness, hiking, water...
For those who love nature, quietness, hiking, water activities, nature wonders, local traditions, kind people, nice beaches, swimming, and on top would like to experiment flying like birds (paragliding) ! Do not hesitate, come visit Bohinj. And plan to stay long to enjoy all what it offers.
