A piece of Paradise, we loved EVERYTHING here, amazing hospitality! We stayed in the beautiful (clay) ECO House, constructed by the owner himself, with lots of love for details ("dry toilet") a marvelous garden and delicious food. If you are crazy enough to arrive by car, you might want to leave it at the main road and take a shortcut by walking, as it's pretty adventurous otherwise... No hot water - which wasn't a problem at all

A very peaceful & quite location a short walk less than 400m to lovely quiet beach . Abene village is a 15 min walk via either beach or bush tracks . Our Hosts did everything to make you feel at home in the sprit of Senegalese culture in Wolof language "Teraanga" translates as " hospitality”, “consideration”. The rooms were comfortable, clean & well furnished. The gardens and the buildings are very well maintained. The meals were lovely and hospitality was exceptional at all meal times. Highly recommended for an relaxation escape holiday. A day time sleep in the hammock in the garden is a must do !! I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

We loved our contact with the owner Malika, she is a very interesting and knowledgeable person who helped us with all we needed. The garden is fabulous place to have a fire / BBQ and for birdwatching. Room was very cozy, spacious and we loved the communal kitchen to cook in. Good WiFi. Many areas to sit and enjoy the surroundings. 20 min walk from town / 20 min walk from the beach.

Poco Loco is an amazing place run by an amazing lady, Fatou. It's a little bit of paradise in Abene. It's set right on the beach, just far enough from the village to enjoy the quiet and close enough to access on foot. The rooms are very well furnished with a really comfy mattress and pillows, best sleep I've had in a while! Also AC, tv, mini fridge and a spacious bathroom. Fatou and team are really professional and very obliging, they check in daily to ensure you have everything you want. I liked that I could have breakfast every morning on the beach and dinner at my veranda in the evenings. And the food, oh my, is copious and sooo delicious. The fish, lotte, was wonderfully seasoned and cooked, I had it everyday! Fatou is a lovely and honest woman. I am already looking forward to returning. See you very soon Fatou, thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Simple, beautiful, nice hosts, really close to the beach (less than 1minute walking), close to restaurants, mini groceries shop (less than 10min). A wonderful place to stay either if you are traveling by yourself or with family (we've traveled with our 3year old boy). We had a great experience there and will be back as soon as possible!
