The hotel is in an excellent location. All the staff are extremely kind and friendly — from the security guard at the entrance, to the receptionists, the breakfast staff, and the cleaners. The hotel is neat and clean. Compliments to the breakfast — it was very interesting to try foods that are not part of a typical European breakfast, and everything was delicious. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back when we get the chance.

This was our second stay at the Courtyard Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, and it certainly won’t be our last. Our first experience was so impressive that we knew we had to return. The hotel is new, clean, and modern, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Its elevated design, centered around a spacious grassy courtyard, creates a tranquil atmosphere. The standout features are the stunning pool, bar, and lounge area, which make for a relaxing escape. The food across all the restaurants is excellent and reasonably priced. We especially loved dining at the Grill and enjoyed several meals there during our two-night stay. The buffet breakfast is extensive and thoughtfully caters to a variety of tastes and preferences. Although we didn’t have time to visit the spa, we’ve heard great things about it and plan to try it on our next visit. The hotel is also ideal for unwinding after a long flight—its beds are large, incredibly comfortable, and paired with pillows that strike the perfect balance: not too soft, not too firm. If you’re in the area, we highly recommend staying at the Courtyard Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport. We’ll definitely return on our next trip.

- Friendly staff, they accompany me to my room - They didn’t mind that I arrived later than the last check-in time, they were really nice about it - they have a full kitchen you can use, I was happy to be able to use the microwave as I arrived late and only 7/11 was open - the room was spotless, clean, simple, tasteful and spacious ! - Free coffees & water - Hot water & shower gel shampoo etc - I was so tired that I didn’t hear my alarm and they come knocking at my door to check if I was okay, they were super cool about it, I told them I was sorry and I would pack really quickly, they told me no problem - location is great, super central, right next to the big shopping center ICONSIAM so I was able to get cash out and get a SIM card at AIS in the morning at 10am (much cheaper than at the airport - 30 days 5G unlimited for 349 baht) It’s as well where you can take the boat to do the hop on hop off for all the sightseeing sites - Amazing value for money !

Modern high rise with chic decor. Swimming pool on the 16th floor overlooking the city is small but refreshing; a wonderful place to chill. Pool bar served a great spicy gin & tonic, and the service was just so kind, professional and friendly all over the hotel. The room was modern and smartly designed, with luxury touches and great views of the city. Lovely shower with good water pressure (even on the 21st floor!). We didn’t experience eating in the hotel restaurants as we took a short tour of Chinatown nearby for food and drinks, and opted for room service breakfast. Room service breakfast was excellent! Both the eggs Benedict and the Thai breakfast were absolutely delicious and on the better end of hotel food I’ve had anywhere in the world. Loved having the option of breakfast in bed, and the execution didn’t disappoint. Also loved the hotel’s free tuktuk shuttle to the ferry port across from Iconsiam, a nice amenity for tourists. We did have a drink in Mimi’s, the Miami-themed roof bar, and while the drinks were a bit too sweet for us we loved the vibe and the fun atmosphere. The customer service was simply excellent everywhere we interacted with it.

Beautiful location and views- an excellent escape. The staff are fabulous and we loved watching the Mon dance performance and having a tour of the mon village. We loved how passionate the staff are about preserving their culture. The boat trips to and from the pier were beautiful, and the river swimming was so fun! In the morning, relaxing on the balcony watching the misty river and the monkeys in the trees across the water was a highlight. Feeding the village elephant in the morning was also a nice start to the day. It was easy to organise tours- we visited hellfire pass and Erawan falls. It was also easy to organise onwards transportation. In the evening the set menu dinner was delicious and plentiful, with the gas lamps and sounds of the river making for an atmospheric meal. While the rooms are quite dark and fairly basic, it really helps to encourage you to enjoy the day and sleep calmly in the evening. There was a wide variety of guests: families, couples, groups, solo travellers and of all ages. I would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful trip away.

We loved our stay! Thank god we chose to stay at the Oceanside because we had no idea there were 2 different sides of the hotel. (U literally had to cross the street to get to the other side of the Villa just to use the bigger pool but we didn’t mind) Spent most of our times sun tanning by the Ocean and the food was great! Everything was great! Would definitely come back!

Bangkok is a great city!

Bangkok is a great city! The Thai people are kind and welcoming. We ate everywhere from Street food in China town, to Mom&Pop restaurants, and upscale places. Everything we ate was delicious and we never had stomach problems once. The public transit was easy to use and it's affordable to call a car via Grab. The air quality and heat can be a concern at times but we enjoyed our stay in December which is the best time of year.

excellent hotel and facilities. Wonderfull enormous pool. distance to the airport for an airport hotel is a little disappointingly far; it takes a good 20 min by taxi from the airport. The return journey is slightly of shorter duration.

It´s an expat, older foreigner hangout.

It´s an expat, older foreigner hangout. No real action around. Beach was not usable around years end because of very high tide limiting access to beach. Beach walks were not possible. Walking along main street is a pain. It´s a tourist place. No real working life neighborhood like Bangkok.

Kanchanaburi is a good place to visit, many tourist spots to visit. Maple Gardens is beautiful, full of flowers and sweet Logan fruits was served free. Erawan waterfall is best place to visit although we need to walk and hike. Srinakarin dam also good to visit.

We wouldn't have wanted to miss visiting at least one...

We wouldn't have wanted to miss visiting at least one historic site while touring Thailand, so Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya is a good place for this. We opted for Wat Chai Watthanaram. From our hotel it was a 75 minute walk, but we found it quite interesting to take in the sights at this pace. You could also take a tuk-tuk to travel more easily. The temple was definitely worth a visit, but also watching people dressing up in historic costumes and posing for pictures in the temple. For dinner we chose some road side stalls.

Not a lot to like.

Not a lot to like. There isn't really a beach most of the time - rather a stepped sea wall. It feels a bit rough. Probably not a destination that families should put on their list of places to go to in Thailand.

It all depends on where you stay.

It all depends on where you stay. Location to transport and markets and the room facilities in your residence being the deciding factor. The river ferry goes there if you are near the pier and some areas have trains - buses are plentiful if you know which ones to use.

This place is a gem.

This place is a gem. We visited in early November and were lucky to witness the Loy Krathong Festival. It seems to be slightly off the tourist route but it has everything we needed for a very memorable stay. There is a super weekend night market where you can try a variety of local food and snacks. There are a number of good coffee shops and restaurants serving local and western food. The temple on the hill is well worth visiting (the views are fabulous) as is the beach at Ao Manao. You can hire bicycles (50 baht per day) and cycle round the headland to the beautiful Kao Tha Mong Lai Forest Park, near Ao Noi. Altogether, Prachuap Khiri Kan is a really lovely place to visit.

Sai Yok is great for people wanting to visit beautiful...

Sai Yok is great for people wanting to visit beautiful natural wonders and the terrible death railway of WW11. However, information is often incorrect and wrong most locals have no English. I researched extensively and even that was not enough most websites offer information that is ab solutely wrong and only their own experience NOT FACTS, enjoy.

Although our stay was short, but I could see the well-planned city and well-maintained public places. I liked the interconnected metro with the malls. Time management is must if wanted to visit Bangkok
