The location is great. It is very convenient to walk to night market and the Thapae Gate. There was also 7-11s nearby. The lobby was ventilated and cool. The room on the first floor was well-ventilated and bright too. There were so many clothes hangers that you don’t have to worry about it. The luggage racks was very helpful and the most important thing was the staffs at the counter took care for the travels waiting in the lobby. They were so friendly and helpful. If you like to wander around the city, I highly recommend this place.

The most beautiful hotel I have stayed in in decsdes. Gorgeous 1920's design, amazing room with a deep bath and window bed, glorious tropical jungle pool hideaway...just perfect. Pay the extra and stay here. Staff were amazing, breakfast was delicious, location is right in the middlenof the old city and 15 mins walk to night bazaar. Great cafés and restaurant right on the same street. You will not find a nicer boutique hotel

The ASA HOTEL is a hotel run with great care. They treat their guests as friends. Several people at the front desk speak Chinese, and they can provide suggestions for any travel-related issues. This is particularly great. The hotel has excellent cleanliness and hygiene. We only stayed for two days and already had to leave. I really wish I could stay a few more days. At checkout, I was pleasantly surprised when an aunt gave me her homemade cake and juice. It was delicious. This is the most satisfactory hotel I have stayed in during my trip to Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Bangkok! I will definitely stay here again next time!

Lovely room with nice outside space. Nice walk to the swimming pool and dining area and the restaurant building was really elegant with a beautifully lit view and the reception area was very attractive too. Breakfast was good and the two dinners we had were high quality. I hope the resort will be able to encourage more people - I know the flooding in the area in October meant they had to cancel bookings. The staff were extremely courteous, friendly and helpful.

Stunning setting, feels like paradise! The flowers, gardens and creek are so beautiful. Spa is wonderful, facilities are luxurious. The food at dinner was really good, with plenty of options for western travellers. Room was so spacious, clean and contemporary. Special touches were made for our honeymoon. Beautiful resort in mountain setting. Most of all, great service; everyone was very helpful and kind. Loved the breakfast and food at the "Higher Room." The room was nice and spacious with a big comfortable bed. The fitness center was spacious, with a good amount of equipment than most hotels or resorts I've been to.

Day of exploring with elephant sanctuary with team Yaya, get it on get your guide booking. Art village, carp cafe, French bistro cafe, unnie nails. Just be careful hiring scooters, have travel insurance before you go. We hired scooters from Happy Days, they never told us we need motorbike permit in chiang mai , within 1hr stopped by police with 500 baht fine followed the police to station to pay. Second day we had motorbike accident with my leg injury , the rental bumped us even it was not our fault according to police we paid damage to their bike and for the other guy. Overall soo much good place to explore, day trips to other cities. Next time I be staying for over 2weeks, people are kind and helpful just speak less English.

Surrounded by the soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall 24/7, it truly felt like we were immersed in nature. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life and reconnect with the serene beauty of the outdoors. One of the most magical moments was at night—around 11 PM onwards, the sky came alive with countless stars, offering an awe-inspiring view you rarely get to experience in the city. If you’re looking for a solid glamping experience with unparalleled hospitality, breathtaking natural surroundings, and starry skies, Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping is the place to go. Lovely place for spending a relaxed weekend. Watch the sunrise over teh valley, stare into the clear skies and the stars at night. Visit the tribal villages, the fruit orchards (strawberries and oranges) and the flower gardens. Enjoy a tranquil time.

Chom Tong is a small town about 1.5 hour from Chiang Mai.

Chom Tong is a small town about 1.5 hour from Chiang Mai. Travellers use it as the base to explore Doi Inthanon. There is a decent choice of F&B establishments, supermarket, cinema, etc. Best explored if you have transport (rental car or taxi service which can be booked by the day)

The property is far from anything and the road is quite hard to get up especially at night as there are no street lights. The view is easily the main attraction though as well as the bathtub. Food was the Moo Kata which was 490 which was about right for 2 people. Breakfast was okay.

Mae Chaem is an amazing little village with great air...

Mae Chaem is an amazing little village with great air quality, which is a rare thing in Thailand. With lots of greenery and nature trails, you'll never get bored in this place. Food is also cheap and tasty. The people are nice and always smiling. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nature retreat.

I have been to Chiang Mai on many occasions, on school trips...

I have been to Chiang Mai on many occasions, on school trips, cricket tours and holidays and yet I still find it energising and an endless supply of interesting places to visit. Staying in the old town gives one access to all of the temples and statuary as well as a great many restaurants and, genuine, massage establishments. Grab works well up there so you can hire a car to Doi Suthep or other places close to town or you can join a tour group to places a little further afield such as Doi Inthanon or even Chiang Rai or Pai. If you go in November it will be a little cooler too so loads of walking to be done.

Welcoming little town well worth visiting. The temple and the caves are great but the best thing for me was that I stumbled into a bar up near the cave which is called . . The Cave bar. This place has to be visited if at all possible. Wonderful hostess and a really chilled, funky vibe.

The cool & freezing weather.

The cool & freezing weather. Must stay here for atleast one night if you have a trip to Chiang Mai. Experience the beautiful flower farm and walking distance. You will appreciate the morning fresh air & cool cloudy fog if you dont mind walking to the flower farm nearby within 15min walk . For Muslim, even though it is only one restaurant that offer halal food , but the taste was worth the price. Will repeat next time if i travel to Chiang Mai.
