In all my years in Thailand this is the absolute best hotel I can recommend. This is a true 5 star hotel. The staff is outstanding and the service is exceptional. The breakfast is perfect with everything you could need, and so is the service. Unfortunately only stayed one night this time but will be back soon.

Hotel environment is fantastic, Breakfast very nice. Celannes was exelent around the whole Hotel. Beach is nice, there are enough sunbed too. The sea is very warm, but not suitable for snorkeling because of the visibility.

Our stay at Boutique Hotel Khao Lak was by far exceeding our expectations. I stayed for a whole week with my mom. We wanted a quite place with not a lot of tourists, which was exactly what we got. Raila and all the staff was of great help from the beginning of the booking until we left to continue our journey through Thailand. The beach nearby was with only few people and there where amazing large stones at the end of the beach and also partly black sand. Raila helped us organize our trips. There was a possibility for laundry wash by hotel, we had everything we needed and beyond. This was my third time in Thailand beach location and this place was the best. Nearby is a small part of Khao Lak that has everything we needed and also there is a perfect local restaurant about five minutes away, where locals eat as well. I can't recommend this accomodation enough, it was absolutely the best.

The Golden Sand Resort is family owned and there's a welcoming vibe to the place that makes you comfortable instantly. The staff is very kind and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean. The swimming pool is chill and the coffee shop is very nice. All in all, would recommend for a central place in Khao Lak.

Spectacular place with great facilities and amenities. Starting with the breakfast which will satisfy anyone is nothing short of a 5 star city hotel. The pool is great and I loved the slides and jacuzzi functions - super fun to explore. the location is right next to the surf spot where my gf surfed day in and day out so it was great to come back to a fantastic hotel. Special mention to the pizza restaurant as I am a big fan of La Peppina in Bangkok and the restaurant has the same stone pizza oven from Naples!

We liked the peace and quiet. The layout of pool access blocks works really well, and there is good space in the pools. The location is great for shopping and food at night outside. The staff are considerate. The breakfast is adequate to enjoy each morning. We had two stays here within 3 weeks, the first about a week, the last three nights. Both times, we were very happy. The shorter stay we were further from the main pool, but we liked this as it was quieter away from the street bat music.

Great hotel in beautiful location. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. We had a beautiful view of the sea from our balcony. The room was great and very clean. The breakfast was good with lots of fresh fruit and Thai dishes. The location was a little further away from Khao Lak center than expected but we had the whole beach to ourselves most days. It’s easy to get to the center or Ban Niang market by tuk tuk.

We loved the stay in this hotel. It is not new or moder, but we have chosen it because of exotic exterier and location. The surroundings are really nice. Location of the hotel is also good, just few meters from the sea. Employees are very friendly and professional. Rooms are clean. Breakfast are good too. We also attend in Thai cooking class and we loved it! We reccomend this attraction for everyone.

I loved everything about this property. my room had an ocean view, it was clean, comfortable and perfect for me to work remotely. The staff were lovely and really helpful when needed. The beach was perfect for swimming and it was very convenient having a minimart and a tour shop so close.

Would have liked to do Khao Sok, and because there's a lot...

Would have liked to do Khao Sok, and because there's a lot to do around Khao Lak, would probably have enjoyed an extra day or two to actually stay on a beach and relax. We hired bikes, perfect for the area, and accessed Surin and Similan islands, snorkelling and scuba. Personally thought Surin and the snorkelling was better. Have fun with the 7-elevens.

This is the place to be if youn want to experience the awesome scuba diving in that area. Khao lak is a quiet laid back little town. You can walk to some of the beaches and they are nice. plenty of restaurants and shops. Not super touristy or loud.
