All the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Especially JoJi who went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. The rooms are well sized and clean and comfortable with large beds. The breakfast was simple and delicious and came with fresh fruit. They also have little extras like cute beach bags and mats to take to the beach which is a 30 second walk away. If you want to go further they can get a cheap taxi to come and pick you up in seconds. Would highly recommend this hotel, it is incredible value for money

    Great staff, good to great breakfasts, with enough food assortment to satisfy the kids. Bicycles for free to move around, shuttles to Khao Lak from 10.00 to 16.00 and back from 10.30 to 16.30. Pools and a mini aquapark across the premises to enjoy when the sea is too wavy. No limitations on what you can bring and consume in terms of food/beverages. A good example of staff/management kindness was a case where both shuttle buses for 11.00 were full booked, yet I was granted a shuttle to buy some mangosteens and beers at our last day. Basically, no complaints about the staff, food (breakfasts only since the low season), or spirit of the place - reasonable, clean, comfortable, kind, safe, calm. Recommended for fams with kids.

    This hotel is absolutely stunning. Everything is beautiful, the rooms, the pools, the laguna, the beach, the restaurants and the service from the most welcoming staff is impeccable. I can highly recommend a Seaside Paradise pool suite, so beautiful and also booking a Private party on the beach, it's an experience for a lifetime.     This property is basically on the beach. Beautiful big rooms all with swimming pool view. Lots of restaurants just down the road. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Breakfasts were amazing. 5 min drive to town. Resort was very clean and neat. The swimming pool was nice and clean. I will be booking this resort again next year when we go to Thailand again.

    We love the Apsara it is our second visit and will definitely not be our last. Love the quietness of the area, yes remote but suits us perfectly and there are taxis and tut tus outside hotel to take you wherever you want. Staff are beautiful and so willing to help and take care of you. Beach is beautiful and hotel is on the beach. Food is delicious and lots of it.

    Location is great just a few steps to nang thong beach. All staff is very helpfull and smiley especially Yaya the girl at reception.     Ohh …what I liked most was definitely the location situated on a beautiful beach with stunning sunsets. I had a sea view room and the room had the best bed I ever tried in Thailand… really comfortable. The breakfast is served by the beach and it’s only a 10/15 minutes walk to one of the city centres.

    A calm and quiet place that also has many places to walk. It is recommended to rent a car for a while because everything is relatively far from each other. Lots of good restaurants and also a really great market for shopping and food.

    If you want late nights, loud music and a party life, don’t go to Kho Lak. If you want rest and relaxation, great food and no crowds this is the place. Pick your time of year and the town seems deserted.

    Not as busy as Phuket, less people but lots of restaurants with reasonable prices. Very family orientated, no night clubs & pole dancing girly bars. Khao Lak is what Phuket was 30 years ago but is becoming more popular.
