Stunning property in a beautiful location - not far from the Night Market which we spent an evening at (and enjoyed thoroughly!). The hotel arranged our transfers to the market which went smoothly and were affordable. Beachfront property, with clean beach and lots of sun beds - though sadly if you didn't get to them early enough - before breakfast - they were already reserved. Breakfast was exceptional - lots of choice. Rooms were very clean and comfortable; we stayed in the swim-up rooms which I strongly recommend. Staff were very pleasant and helpful always, assisting us in arranging onwards transfers. Would definitely come back!

We stayed at the Khao Lak Marriot on an opening deal and were incredible impressed to say the hotel hadn't even been open for a month. The staff were all superb and each restaurant offers something different. We loved the vast beach at the property and the adult only pool was a very welcomed amenity.

Everything was fantastic. The suite was clean, modern and spacious. The pool being over 2km, there was always a close entry and from anywhere in the resort. The beach was great, waves are small but still allow for boogie boarding or surfing. Supplying free rental on surf boards, boogie boards, kayak and paddle boards is a bonus. Staff is attentive always going out of their way to make sure you are comfortable.

Amazing buffet breakfast - fantastic selection and delicious. Very good wait staff, nice atmosphere and relaxed. Beautiful rooms. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was very spacious, very nicely finished, clean and modern. Very nice, luxurious toiletries provided (Marlin & Goetz). Excellent housekeeping services. Beautiful clean beach, multiple pools and multiple restaurants - the pizza oven by the kids play pool was a favourite! Great kids and teens club with different activities and fun games. Gardens are beautifully maintained and bit of fun to see the chickens, ducks, turtle and rabbits.

It's very much new and boutique, having just 12 rooms in a very quiet location surrounded by trees and maybe 2km from the beach. The pool is small, but good for cooling off. Breakfast was excellent. There are plenty of places to eat on the beach and some shops on the way there. The resort has about ten bikes you can borrow, or walk down and get a taxi back. (There's a desk there for that.) Good for couples.

The number of pools is enormous and they are clean and nice. The breakfast is outstanding with a great variety for everyone from kids to picky adults. The beach is spectacular with crystal clean water and breathtaking views. We were staying for 1 month with 2 kids, the room was spacious for us. The beach was shallow enough for kids to swim of course in vests. We were staying in the low season and had a car so the location was great for us. Additionally, the hotel hosts movie nights everyday.

We liked the peace and quiet. The layout of pool access blocks works really well, and there is good space in the pools. The location is great for shopping and food at night outside. The staff are considerate. The breakfast is adequate to enjoy each morning. We had two stays here within 3 weeks, the first about a week, the last three nights. Both times, we were very happy. The shorter stay we were further from the main pool, but we liked this as it was quieter away from the street bat music.

We'd stayed at the sister hotel, Seascape, and enjoyed that,and loved the part of Khao Lak and beach we were on so wanted to stay longer which meant moving to the more expensive Lighthouse,but this was on the beach and worth it. Really enjoyed staying and very good generous breakfast

Very beautiful garden, pool and beach. Excelent masaje at the spa, although cheaper options are available at the beach. Good thai restaurant, but a bit too expensive. There are good eating options at Memories Beach and few other restaurants at 1.2-1.5 km outside of the resort.

Would have liked to do Khao Sok, and because there's a lot...

Would have liked to do Khao Sok, and because there's a lot to do around Khao Lak, would probably have enjoyed an extra day or two to actually stay on a beach and relax. We hired bikes, perfect for the area, and accessed Surin and Similan islands, snorkelling and scuba. Personally thought Surin and the snorkelling was better. Have fun with the 7-elevens.

Trips to the islands are a must Ko lak is a cut above Phuket more refined better restaurants excellent choice of hotels and all in all nicer people No gangs of young Indian lads it was a joy to return to the old Thailand

This is the place to be if youn want to experience the...

This is the place to be if youn want to experience the awesome scuba diving in that area. Khao lak is a quiet laid back little town. You can walk to some of the beaches and they are nice. plenty of restaurants and shops. Not super touristy or loud.
