- From US$69.94 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 126 reviewsWe stayed 5 nights in the suite at Good time and were very comfortable. The rooms & balcony were a good size. The balcony had a view over the beautiful gardens. The hot water shower and AC worked well, and there was a decent size fridge to keep our drinks cold. We were collected from the pier on arrival in a cute electric golf cart - bonus points for being green! The staff Mr Peak and Lek were friendly and helpful. We rented a cute scoopy scooter from Mr Peak for 200 baht /day in very good condition (hope in future there might be an affordable electric option too, better for the environment). It was nice that they had such beautiful grounds to walk about in and a swimming pool. We loved musing at the interesting & unique character of each of their other buildings scattered about the complex gardens. Daily housekeeping was available on request, as well as change of linens. We could also get water refills at reception , and buy an espresso for 35 baht (comes with a biscuit). The Wi-Fi worked well, great for remote working. there are comfortable chairs and tables to use, and a decent size wardrobe with a sufficient amount of hangers. The area is peaceful and quiet, with good beaches in walking distance as well as small convenience stores and a couple local Thai restaurants all within around or less than 15 minutes walk.Guest review byMariaUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 198 reviewsThe Place is just beautiful! Very Calm, private and clean Beach Right in Front of the Apartment. The Look from our balcony was Picture Perfect and we could Watch the sunrise Even from our bed. the Appartement was very clean and comfortable, providing everything we needed. The Water was Great for snorkelling and swimming and as i mentioned, Most of the time, we were Almost alone in the Water, just sometimes a few other people from the different Apartments Belongig to Ao Pong Resort. Michal was very friendly and helpful, we got picked up from the Pier so we didn’t Need to Carry our luggage the Short way. He booked us a local fishing Trip and helped with renting bicycles. Thanks for providing this lovely Place on Koh mak. We Loved it!Guest review byAnneGermany

Close to the "center" of restaurants and shops. Islanda staff is absolutely fantastic. The hotel restaurant offers delicious food - papaya salad, the best on the island:))They make You fell like You are in home. It was our second time in this place and we hope we will come back.Guest review byMichałPoland

Koh Mak is quite small but beautiful and has a lot of nature. Good kick-boxing school. Variety of good eating places Koh Mak seafood being one of them. It is far more relaxed than Koh Chang with less to do but I actually found the peacefulness and serenity more alluring. The people are friendly and it has a up early sleep when the sunsets kind of vibe but also if you want to be out later you can. There are some very picturesque beaches and bars. Also a variety of takes on food By the sea has great sandwiches etc. If the weather turns bad then this is when the boredom may be an issue. However I loved the thunderstorms and lightening shows. Best I had ever seen.Guest review byMarty TUnited Kingdom - 10.0

After researching on Google satellite I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Much lusher and more tourist-friendly than I expected. Though it's a small island, there's enough there to explore more than we could in 3 nights. And it is the ideal launching site to visit the famous diving and snorkeling sites around Koh Rang island. Five nights would be adequate, unless you're a snorkeling/diving addict, then maybe more.Guest review byFredUnited States - 8.0

Very small island which is still kind of rural and not very touristy. That also means that there are not many amenities or fun things you can do. Accommodations are more basic, food or bar options are limited, and you've seen all of the island in a few hours. But you can also have a perfect chill time without any noisy tourist crowds or big loud party areas. Beaches are great. If you want more action, just take the ferry to Ko Chang (once a day).Guest review byTyeJ_travelGermany
