Amazing room right in the heart of Bohput, Fisherman's Village. The room feels very spacious, modern and comfortable. I loved the desk for working and the large balcony overlooking the main street. The noise from the street didn't bother us, but good to keep in mind that it's in the middle of the action. The room is located above an amazing cafe, with some of the best cakes I've ever eaten! I would definitely recommend it!

I highly recommend this accommodation. No matter what you need, the owner and his staff are extremely helpful and ready to assist you with anything. They can even take you to the airport or the pier for a lower price than Bolt or Grab. Listen to the valuable advice from the owner, who enjoys chatting – it will save you time, stress, and money. We definitely want to come back here someday. The location is great, the garden is beautiful, and the accommodation is situated in a quieter part of Koh Samui, which is a big advantage. The owner is very kind and helpful. We rented a scooter for 300 baht, and it worked well. Since we rented it in the afternoon, we even got a discount. The breakfast is definitely worth it. For 220 baht, you get a plate of fresh fruit, two eggs prepared to your liking with bacon, yogurt, toast, jam, margarine, tea, and coffee. The bungalow had everything we needed. They even provide an electric mosquito killer. Housekeeping is done daily, and they replenish free bottled water, toilet paper, and other essentials.

The staff was really amazing. They treated us like family and it was such a pleasure to stay there with a baby. Also, the resort was very calm and we could really enjoy they nature and the pool area, which we loved. We were able to watch elephants from our terrace and there were beautiful plants everywhere. The food was amazing at the restaurant and everything was really clean.

Palm Trees and Pristine Seas

One of Thailand’s most famous islands, Koh Samui (or Ko Samui) is a tropical paradise whose palm trees emerge from the pristine white sands at unbelievable angles, and whose offshore reefs make for great diving.

The most developed resort is Chaweng, though most bars and clubs are set back from the beautiful beach, so the views are still wonderful. Slightly less lively is Lamai, though its beach is no less impressive. Both of these resorts are home to a large number of Koh Samui hotels with private pools, a popular requirement of many visitors, despite the wonderfully warm waters.

Lipa Noi in the west faces Thailand’s east coast and has some beautiful sunsets, while the northern fishing village of Bo Phut is gaining in popularity. Nearby Mae Nam and Cheong Mon both have sweeping beaches that gently shelve into the sea, making them popular family choices.

Travellers don't go tot Koh Samui for its sights – but interesting attractions include the Big Buddha at Bangrak’s Wat Phra Yai temple, and the Wat Khunaram Ko Samui temple inland from Hua Thanon.

This is an extremely scenic resort, with beautiful gardens, and a gorgeous pool with a sea view. The breakfast was quite great, with a wide array of options to suit every palate. Additionally, the restaurants and bar had a good selection of drinks and the happy hour was a nice touch. The gym was very well-equipped, and the complimentary classes like Mui Thai, yoga, and Pilates were a welcome addition. We could also use SUP boards on the beach at no extra cost. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient, ensuring the rooms were cleaned twice daily, which contributed to a comfortable stay.

We loved our stay at the Peace Resort. The villa was perfect for a family - it is very spacious and the pool is a good size. The staff goes above and beyond as they helped us with a last minute booking change to extend our stay. All of the following stand out to us: delicious and healthy breakfast options, beautiful views on the beach, friendly staff, game room, library, kayaks and stand up paddle boards, walkability to the night market and peaceful vibe at the resort.

Convenient location close to airport yet serene and quiet setting. Facilities well blended with the natural setting of the hill slope. Excellent beach with no outsiders. Exclusive resort with just 60+ villas such that staff are able to call you by your name. Staff are friendly. Nice to use apps to chat with staff and make reservations and requests so you wouldn’t be disturbed when you don’t want to. I have an extremely pleasant stay with Six Senses Samui.

I read a lot of reviews about the amazing beaches of Koh Samui. I tried many of them and I can tell with confidence that Chaweng was the best by miles. I was based in Chaweng and I though to check the other beaches. I walked all over Lamai, which is very panoramic, but there is a constant stink wherever you go and the beach inside has a lot of corals/rocks that will probably hurt your feet. Crystal Bay was tiny, not comfortable because of the corals and overcrowded. I didnt see Fisherman Village beach while the others on the east side looked dirty. Choose Chaweng

Lamai is for those who like things to be bit slow and quiet.

Lamai is for those who like things to be bit slow and quiet. You will do everything that is possible on the Island in less than 4 days, after that you either enjoy the sun, pool, beach or numerous cocktail places. It's at bay s you wont have to worry yourself about natural disasters such as Tsunami.

The resort was fantastic!

The resort was fantastic! The individual villas were great as it didn't feel like a hotel. These gave a more relaxed atmosphere to the resort. The pool was very pretty. The restaurant was spacious and the service efficient along with the delicious food and wine. Great value, a super location and a really pretty resort!

We really enjoyed this area of Koh Samui.

We really enjoyed this area of Koh Samui. Our resort (Hansar Resort & Spa) was perfectly located and very comfortable. Fisherman's Village was in easy walking distance from our resort and gave us easy access to plenty of restaurants, bars, convenience stores, pharmacies, massage, etc. Unfortunately, we were down for the count most of our trip with stomach issues so we did not venture outside the Bophut area. Even with the illness, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and plan to return soon and explore the rest of the island.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning. That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Still, for a calm beach day with amazing views, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

There are only two bungalows facing the beach and they are AMAZING!! We did not want to leave our hotel. Some of the other rooms looked nice too but faced the garden walkway. One bungalow faced a concrete wall. You get what you pay for. Loved this place so much.

Very friendly people and going to a night market is a great experience! Traveling across the island is easy but it may get a bit costly if you have to take a van for 6 or 8 people. Beaches on the east side are nice but busy. Beaches on the west are less crowded but may get narrow and untidy due to the tides. Overall we were missing the very long beaches with plenty of palm trees and powder-soft sand. Worth a visit are higher areas of the island in middle, e.g. Dee's Chilling Hill restaurant. Also going to the Ang Thong Marine park is very nice.

Loved our room! It was very spacious,clean & comfortable. The bed and pillows met our expectations. The pool was huge! Great for children or grown ups. A very ambient,quiet resort set on the beach front. The beach chairs are very comfortable and the best place to chill with a book or take in the amazing views. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is very peaceful and we ordered a taxi or grab to go to dinner in the evening. We had drinks at the Hotel pub one evening. Overall a great stay & value for the rates. The breakfast was sufficient …eggs and fresh fruit/toast/pastries. Handy if you have a motor bike to get around the Island as grab is expensive. .
