The beds were comfortable, the hot water was extremely hot like I like it. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The hotel is in a great location. There is a night market less than a 2 min walk from the hotel. Bars, massage spas and restaurants in walking distance.

Everything! The hotel was contemporary, clean, smelled great! Breakfast was simple but consistently good. Front entrance can be a little hard to miss but the location was good and within walking distance of good restaurants and amenities like laundry and 7-Eleven. Staff was wonderful. The hotel staff are very friendly and professional. The room is very clean and comfortable. The hotel is near the old town and located beside a main street but it’s like an oasis once you walk in. Very quiet and nice. The swimming pool is great and fruits are provided at the pool side during happy hour (2pm~4pm everyday) And the breakfast definitely cannot be missed! Variety of breakfast is amazing. You can have many Thailand dishes and also western style such as omelets, bread and salad. Highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely go back next time when I visit Chiangmai.

This place was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! the location, the room, the service, the breakfast, everything was exceptional :) This would definitely be a 5 star hotel in Europe! We arrived very early in the morning and they tried their best to let us check in as early as possible. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Also, the breakfast ist delicious. You can choose between Korean, American and Thai breakfast. The Korean breakfast was amazing! Thank you so much Rimwiang Team, we had a great time :)

I was given a free upgrade to business suite. Which was really nice. I had made my booking without the breakfast, but the guy at the reception just added goodness to my stay by giving me complimentary breakfast. This hotel is in the heart of Night Market. Everything can be found in a couple of minutes of walk. The staff was really awesome. The fitness center was fully quipped. This was my second visit, and I plan to visit again.

It’s much nicer than it looks in the photos! Very fancy place. Beautiful gardens, multiple pools, mountain views. Two restaurants, one for breakfast, one for dinner. The room was exceptional with a large tub, comfortable bed, shower, and of course the views! They even drive you to your room in a golf cart. Hotel taxi is available and grab also works in the area.

During my holiday I stayed in Hop Inn hotels of Bangkok, Chaing Mai and Chaing Rai. Out of all the hotels, the most friendliest staff I found was in here. (Of course all the staff of other Hop Inn Hotels are friendly too). Coin laundry is also just in front of the hotel.

I have been to Chiang Mai on many occasions, on school trips...

I have been to Chiang Mai on many occasions, on school trips, cricket tours and holidays and yet I still find it energising and an endless supply of interesting places to visit. Staying in the old town gives one access to all of the temples and statuary as well as a great many restaurants and, genuine, massage establishments. Grab works well up there so you can hire a car to Doi Suthep or other places close to town or you can join a tour group to places a little further afield such as Doi Inthanon or even Chiang Rai or Pai. If you go in November it will be a little cooler too so loads of walking to be done.

My highlight was the Hill tribe trek. The guide was excellent. I learnt a lot about the people, lifestyle and customs of the local people. Coming from the city, it made me appreciate the basics in life such as preparing lunch with bamboo and banana leaves.

Pai is the Gem of the North, a mix of great food, very kind Thai people, lots of cool spaces to motorbike to, lots to do, lush jungle forest everywhere..many very cool places to stay..so don't stay in one place..move around and see the awesome places to hang out. Elephants, River rafting, great food experiences..very very nice. 3 hours by mini van to Pai from Chiang Mai..I recommend AYA minivan service, way better than the ones at the bus station...same price..way better service and vans.

A place to get in touch with history.

A place to get in touch with history. Come here every year and never tired of it. Particularly nice to come during Loy Krathong, the vibrancy of the town is just amazing. The lights, the show, the krathong, the atmosphere are breath-taking. Spend some time at Si Satchanalai as well which is worth visiting as this preceded Sukhothai. We enjoyed the local Thai food at eating places along the street, the food at the night market and the smoothies!!! One thing about Sukhothai is there is no GRAB, so must arrange transport to Si Satchanalai. But no worries, many vendors will take you there for a price, just check locally.

Nan is an interesting town...

Nan is an interesting town... There are lots of temples and history from when it was a kingdom. I was visiting during the low season, but during my 10-day visit, I could see something every day. But you must realize that this is not a holiday site where you can enjoy daily fun and entertainment.

Not a tourist town. Temples and local history are very interesting. Folk art museum was the highlight for us. Unfortunately we didn’t get to nearby Sukhothai historical park which was highly recommended by our host.

I found a lot of the locals to be quite stand offish with white people. It was the only town we visited that felt like that in all of northern thailand. for that reason, I would not come back to Lampang.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping in Chiang Mai, and I can confidently say it was one of the most incredible hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the host and staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. Every request we made was met with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, which made our stay even more special. The glamping site itself is immaculately maintained, with cleanliness being a top priority. Surrounded by the soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall 24/7, it truly felt like we were immersed in nature. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life and reconnect with the serene beauty of the outdoors. One of the most magical moments was at night—around 11 PM onwards, the sky came alive with countless stars, offering an awe-inspiring view you rarely get to experience in the city. If you’re looking for a solid glamping experience with unparalleled hospitality, breathtaking natural surroundings, and starry skies, Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping is the place to go. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet enriching escape. Thank you to the entire team for making this a stay to remember!

Lovely place for spending a relaxed weekend.

Lovely place for spending a relaxed weekend. Watch the sunrise over teh valley, stare into the clear skies and the stars at night. Visit the tribal villages, the fruit orchards (strawberries and oranges) and the flower gardens. Enjoy a tranquil time.
