It was beautiful experience to stay in this house. Higly recomendable. Hotel is in the historical berber village in the mountains. The rooms are eranged in original Berber Triglodite house. Interior is decorated super nice. View from terrace fantastic. Property is clean, hot water in the shower. very good trsditional breakfast. It is family operating house, so we feel like at home. Owners are very friendly. Speak english.They invite us for the dinner, prepared by family woman. It was so delicious. Brothers Fadi and Aimin are good gides, know area and the history of village, they arrange very interesting tour around the village, including to see original( not rebuild) berber underground (Tiglodite) house. If You are interesting in real historic things, this property will be fantastic place for You.

Such an awesome stay at Zina. A beautiful small olive, pomegranate and animal farm style property. The hosts are incredible (English speakers also). The food, rooms, facilities, and service where amazing. Some additional accommodation and facilities are currently under construction. It will soon be an exceptional setup!!! So much potential here, I can’t wait to return in the future! Such a great stay. Highly highly recommend!!

Absolutely amazing experience in a proper berber setting. Authentic, warm and very clean. Massive room for two of us, private bathroom. Very impressed. Beautiful setting, peaceful and tranquil, awesome open air courtyard to sit under the stars. 5 min walk to star wars site, lovely peaceful picturesque walk. Cleaning staff and other day staff friendly and helpful and smiling.

Welcoming and kind hosts. Very clean and comfortable room in a very quiet but central location. Fantastic breakfast to set you up for the day whilst exploring the plentiful sights in the area. Would also highly recommend you have dinner here…delicious and wholesome traditional meal, you definitely won’t go hungry! It must be the best place to stay in Matmata :-)))

The property is absolutely beautiful and well taken care of. It is 10 min away from Matmatah in the village of Tijma very peaceful and in the middle of the desert. very special place. the Man that runs it, Habib, is super friendly and nice. he took us on a nice trip to tataouine stopping on many sights. very knowledgeable. Food was delicious. highly recommended!

True rural Tunisian hospitality from the Amazighe family who run the dar. A brilliant place to stay if you like being off the beaten track and want a genuine taste of how local Tunisians live. My room was beautifully decorated with traditional rugs and woven shawls and was cosy and comfortable. I was so well looked after by 3 generations of the family who came up in the evening, when we all shared a meal together. There are 3 lovely friendly dogs, a magnificent cat, 2 peacocks and several goats on the dar as well. My dog did not want to leave as she had made so many friends there.

Unique place, sleeping in a cave, marvelous experience, helpful staff, comfortable rooms, quiet, magic atmosphere, of course the room is a cave, and the bathroom is very simple but in this place you do not need nothing more, totally recommend. I recommend to look on the roof and see (safely!) the courtyards from the top

Big kind welcome by Joseph. He understood what two weary cyclist needed after a day in 35+ temperatures. Even let us choose from two big apartments and threw in a free breakfast at five!! In the morning so we could start pedaling in agreeable temperatures.. big 10 out of 10
