They have buffet breakfast, PM snacks, and late night snacks for all hotel guests. Love their variety of ice cream flavors and tea. All foods are delicious especially the Danzai noodles and Hong Kong style congee. This saved us a couple of bucks from eating outside. Hotel has spacious room, great facilities, and it has a common small area for working people. Their wifi is assigned per room and is consistently working. Staffs are trained with excellent hospitality service. Hotel is about 15 min walk the train station, but you can ask the reception if you want to arrange a taxi service from the hotel. Had lots of vegetarian options which not every hotel can accommodate, so it was appreciated. Stayed only one night but didn’t have to really leave the hotel at all. It’s not heated but with the outdoor temperature at 20s and sunny it was nice and refreshing. They always had someone at the pool acting as lifeguard whenever someone goes to the pool area. The sauna was totally unexpected, it’s like a Japanese onsen with hot and cold pool, dry sauna and a stream room. It’s large and feels more like a Spa. They have separate ones for men and women. The breakfast buffet is exceptional. Chinese, Japanese, Korean and western food with lots of choices. Location is great. Walking distance to some of the historical sites and night markets. we did a great walking tour with Emily (of https://www.likeitformosa.com/ ) of the Old Anping area. She has a great knowledge of Tainan's history and culture. We also enjoyed the Tainan Art Museum (the newer Building 2) exhibitions of contemporary artists' work. There's an excellent restaurant on level 5. Walking the streets is a great way to discover the architectural variety of the city, from Japanese colonial era to contemporary landmarks to traditional temples. The city is excellent and offers a great deal of places to visit, like Hayashi Store for some amazing souvenirs, Confucius Temple to appreciate the ancient learning and culture, a lot of Museums to showcase the art and history of the city, and the fantastic night markets for local cuisine of Tainan.
