- From $86.94 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 337 reviewsWe absolutely loved our stay in this little log cabin! While the cabin is small, it's perfectly cozy and just the right size for two. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was spotless. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a big plus. The shared bathrooms and showers are just outside and were exceptionally clean, with a warm, homey feel that made them a pleasure to use. The garden is beautifully landscaped with stunning views all around—such a peaceful place to relax. The staff were all very kind and welcoming. We also ate at the restaurant next door and were pleasantly surprised—delicious homemade food and even real Caesar dressing, which is hard to find! The location couldn’t be better—right next to Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument, making it super convenient for exploring. We can’t recommend this glamping site enough. A wonderful stay all around!Guest review byOrianeFrance

- From $335.64 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 149 reviewsMaybe the best place I’ve ever stayed. I felt like I was in a palace. I took a group hiking, and my car broke down. Scott, the owner went out into the desert, picked us up and drove us all the way to Kanab. He spent half a day trying to help us and he did not charge a penny. Good Samaritan on steroids. You must stay here.Guest review byCarlUnited States

Perfect location for visiting Capitol Reef NP!
Perfect location for visiting Capitol Reef NP! The Rim Rock Restaurant had great views for a nice dinner and Austin’s Chuckwagon Deli was absolutely perfect for breakfast, plus I saw lots of box lunches going out as well for hikers! It also had a well-stocked general store!Guest review byAnnUnited States - 8.0

We enjoyed our time at Cowboy Country Inn because management was well organized and super efficient. The wifi and Direct TV were exceptional. Escalante has a Catholic church with a Sunday 5 pm Mass. Don't miss Escalante Outfitters - great pizza, exceptional coffee!Guest review byJeniferUnited States - 10.0

The hotel was situated at the right location for the places I wanted to see. To the east were the hanksville sites, to the west were the Capitol reef national Park attractions. If you wanted quietness this is itGuest review byAnonymous - 6.0

Bicknell is a small town about 10 miles outside of Capitol Reef National Park where you can find hotel rooms that are less expensive and family restaurants. Bicknell is a bed-room community for the National Parks, not really a destination of it's own.Guest review byAnnetteUnited States - 10.0

We were on a 5 week cross country vacation and saw a lot of hotels along the way...this was by far one of the best. This hotel has been newly renovated and the rooms are very inviting. The owners were very accommodating. Loa is a small town and everyone was very friendly. I would stay here again and recommend anyone looking at hotels between the Arches and Canyonland should definitely pick this one. You will not be disappointed!Guest review byMaryUnited States - 10.0

If you like to explore the desert, there are plenty of places to go off the beaten path. If you're not comfortable with that, there's a lot of beauty close to the road too. Hell's Backbone Grill was worth the splurge - delicious food and they even made us a special request cocktail that tasted better than the typical one you would get somewhere else.Guest review byJenniferUnited States - 10.0

Hanksville has lots of wonderful outdoor activities in and around the town, particularly Capitol Reef National Park and Goblin Valley State Park. If you aren't outdoorsy or active, there might not be much to do for you. The town itself is quite small, and not everything is open in the winter. It is cute and has character, but is not exactly exciting.Guest review byKellyUnited States - 10.0

Torrey is a cute little town just 8 miles west of Capitol Reef National Park. Several restaurant and lodging choices but close enough to the park. FYI, better gas prices can be found in Bicknell, about 10 miles west on SR 24.Guest review byMargaretUnited States - 10.0
A lot to do. Tried to book a tour but no availability.
A lot to do. Tried to book a tour but no availability. So if you are planning to do one, book early. There was only 1 restaurant that open while we were there. We love the Petrified Forest, Escalante River hike, Lower Calf Falls, as well as the Long Slot Canyon. Some of the attractions need a 4x4. Wish we knew ahead of time. Overall, very enjoyable! Cute little town with lots to do.Guest review byDianaUnited States - 8.0
Breakfast was minimal.
Breakfast was minimal. Granola bar and oatmeal which you had to ask for. No soap in the shower or extra toilet paper. They are definitely operating on a budget. No place to eat out in this town. Be prepared.Guest review byClintUnited States
