Diverse Sunshine State of Disney

The Sunshine State – Florida – has so much going for it that we hardly know where to begin! From Key West all the way to Jacksonville and Pensacola, this diverse state has magnificent beaches attracting beautiful people and exotic wildlife.

At its tip are the incredible Everglades, largely accessible only by air boat. East, Miami is known for its Latin American vibe and the Art Deco buildings of glamorous Miami Beach. Fort Lauderdale is nicknamed ‘Venice of America', while Palm Beach hosts the annual SunFest music festival. Panama City is a favourite Florida spring break destination, and Tampa has popular party spot Ybor City and Busch Gardens, one of many Florida theme parks.

The most famous are of course Walt Disney World, Epcot, SeaWorld and Universal Studios Florida. If you love amusement parks, great eats, cultural event, great weather, and drivable distance to beaches this is the place to visit. Whether you are here on business or decide you want to indulge in some shopping, Orlando has you covered. The night life in Orlando is great, and it has a niche for everyone. Whether you decide to take it easy and relax by campfire or you decide to dance the night away to many different cultural rhythms Orlando has you covered. Some notes to consider. Traffic in Orlando is insane, specially if you are planning to come around holidays or during busy times in the year. Although to be honest, it feels like Orlando crowds are always high. Prepare for tolls. Make sure you educate yourself regarding the many toll passes that Orlando has. During the summer it is hot, humid and wet. It rains a lot so if you are planning to go to the parks or do outside activities dress appropriately. Be patient, like I said Orlando is busy and has a lot of people in it, but make sure to immerse yourself in the culture and the things that Orlando has to offer. Get outside the Disney or Universal bubble and go out there and explore.

A pretty good place for overnight stay and price is right. We got great Hispanic food from a local grocery where we were able to get essentials, was recommended a nice taxi service that we called several times and also booked for our 4am pickup to the airport. My favorite place to visit was Miami Beach. Next time I will be more prepared to visit the sites.

The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is located close to Lincoln Ave which had all the shopping outlets that i needed. There was just one minor thing that turned me off...there was an elderly gentleman at the front desk whose customer service left a lot to be desired. The Manager though was very courteous and friendly.

I didn't like the fact that Housekeeping was knocking on the door at 9:00 to clean the room check out is at 11:00 she woke us up and I had to answer the door to tell her we would be leaving around 10:30-10:45 then she proceeded to have a conversation outside our door with another Housekeeper so we were not able to go back to sleep. I was not happy about this part of my stay. Otherwise I would highly recommend staying here, front desk staff was very friendly and very nice the inside was very nice as well didn't make the breakfast but next time we will

Tampa is a great little city. People are friendly. The streets are clean and nice. We stayed near the riverwalk and it was perfect. We visited a Crocodile shelter, the Capybara Cafe in St. Pete and the Florida Aquarium near our hotel. We also had lunch at Ulele which we love.

The beach was amazing.

The beach was amazing. Having visited beaches from all over Florida I would say this is one of the cleanest beach I have ever seen. The water was super clear and comfortable warm water. The waves were not so strong which is just perfect for my kids.

Silver Palm in is walking distance from the heart of the city and is a great place to stay. The staff were very helpful, We also enjoyed the Old Town Trolley Tours. One of the Drivers Philipp was exceptional and great with the history of Key West. The tour takes about 1.5 hours and it is very good. Do the tour 1st and get an idea of what/where to go afterwards. You can get on/off anytime and this trolley runs from 15-30 minutes at each stop, there were 13 stops ending at Mallory Square in the heart of the city.
