Went to dinner one nite at restaurant in the casino. Walked across road and around to front. Wonderful meal. Stopped in second hand stores and yard sale which companion enjoys. Sorry but we are both over 70! Not exactly young and it's my aunt I travel with!

We went downtown for lunch on a Tuesday. Most restaurants were closed, others all had wait times of over an hour. We ended up driving to Safeway and making our own food for most of the rest of the trip. I would probably stay in Kalispell or Colombia Falls if we went back.

The town and park were absolutely amazing.

The town and park were absolutely amazing. We hiked Red Rock Canyon, visited Cameron Lake and took the International boat tour. They were wonderful. We say black bears and elk. We had amazing food at Wieners and the Taco place. Great coffee at Tamarak. We can't wait to visit again. Next time we hike the Bear hump.

Excellent way to avoid the traffic coming into the park from the west entrance and you are going the opposite direction of that traffic. Also, access to other parts of the park on the east side and if you have your passport, you can go to the very northern part of the park in Canada.

Stayed one night, going to GNP, convenient enough to entrances. Booked a month in advance, charged my card twice. To their credit, they credited me one charge w/out a hassle. No frills, it was a room for a night.

We stayed at the cabin to visit Glacier National Park.

We stayed at the cabin to visit Glacier National Park. We hiked to Grinnell Glacier in the Many Glacier section, St Mary Falls and Virginia Falls, Avalanche Lake, Two Medicine Lake and the Hidden Lake Overlook. We spent most of our day in the park and really just used the cabin to cook dinner, do laundry and sleep.

Rooms in cabins and lodge are the same, so we ended up in cabin vs lodge, and room code provided by front desk worked after we called back to the front office as we couldn't locate the key pad and they reassured we were in correct place, told location of keypad, then room code worked. After settling in with all luggage, etc., some rude lady from the front office came to our door saying we had to move because we should have been in the lodge. Not pleased that we had to repack and move. They should have given us the correct room to begin with. Lodge room was small and not much more than the essentials. They get nearly $500 a night for this? Only reason anyone would pay this price is cause they are so close to Glacier National Park.

Very cute town off the beaten path.

Very cute town off the beaten path. The town is actually off the main highway down around a corner, cute shops, restaurants, clothes shops. Theatre that was having an event starting. Clean little town. Very nice walking town. We ate dinner at a place called split Rock, good food. Grocery store was great well stocked. Had to use a laundromat which was clean, tidy. Really liked Whistling Andy's for custom cocktails, good food.

The cabin was beautiful, well decorated.

The cabin was beautiful, well decorated. The beds were very comfortable and it was well set up. On the negative. There was one face cloth for four people, two towels for the hot tub for four people, two bath towels for four people, the dish soap was so diluted That it would not create suds and when we got more, they gave us a scant half a cup in the bottom of a used dish soap container. Anything above eye height is not dusted or cleaned. The glasses were covered with grease and dust and the bath shower curtain was filthy about 8 inches up. I found it a real pity that’s such a beautiful place and such a beautiful location is Penny pinching so bad. That it affects their reviews. If they’re not doing the cleaning, they need to talk to the cleaning lady.
