- From $246.53 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 471 reviewsWe had an amazing stay at Surfsand Resort! From the moment we arrived, we felt really welcomed and taken care of. The staff was super friendly and kind, and it was such a nice surprise to get a free welcome drink at check-in! There are always hot drinks available in the lobby—hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and apple cider. Such a cozy little bonus, especially after being out in the fresh air. Our room was super clean and felt newly renovated. We loved the comfy bathrobes, the big bathtub, and the fireplace—it all made the stay extra cozy. Plus, we had a beautiful view of Haystack Rock right from our room! One of the best parts was how close the beach is—less than a 2-minute walk, which is amazing, especially with kids. We also booked the beach bonfire for $50, and it was such a fun experience. The staff set everything up and gave us everything for s’mores—sticks, marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate. It was the perfect beach night! There’s also a warm indoor pool and a hot tub on site, which our kids loved and we really enjoyed too. Honestly, this hotel feels like the most budget-friendly option in the area, but it delivers 100% and even more. Great value for the price. We stayed with our two kids and loved everything—no complaints at all. We’ll definitely be back!Guest review byAngelinaRussia
- From $259.92 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 981 reviewsMy husband and I loved this hotel. We decided to splurge on a room with a hottub and a balcony facing the ocean. After a long, beautiful walk in the beach right in front of the hotel we came back to a good soak in the tub, sat on the balcony to watch the sun go down and then slept very well in the very comfortable bed.Guest review byShelaghCanada
- From $303.71 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 260 reviewsWe loved the room, balcony, and ocean view from our room. We also LOVED the proximity to everything - beach, restaurants, coffee shop, and the e-bikes/dune boards we could rent for free. The king bed and jacuzzi was luxurious, and made for a fantastic mini honeymoon. Will definitely be back!Guest review byAllieCanada

Restaurants were great!!
Restaurants were great!! Morally twisted Nude biker ride was disgustingly ugly. It amazes me that such a small percentage of twisted groups have ruled over morality, the local administration and law enforcement.Guest review byGaryUnited States - 8.0

We only stayed one night as we drove through on to Crater Lake but the little we saw, was nice. We had dinner at Pine Tavern (Not sure about the name) which is next to Bend Brewery. Food was very good as was the service.Guest review byAlejandraUnited States - 8.0
I've always loved this town.
I've always loved this town. Lots of events and good restaurants with lots nearby things to do. The only negative thing you have to deal with is the traffic but not really a way to change that. Just be aware.Guest review byKathyUnited States - 8.0
Great town with huge amount of attractions.
Great town with huge amount of attractions. Traffic is challenging and construction adds to the challenge. Downtown is pretty sad, but has some good features. Restaurants everywhere, great parks, lots of entertaining things to do, and of course, the crown jewel of the University and the U. District.Guest review byDennisUnited States - 10.0

Don't be discouraged by the exterior! Clean, clean, clean room-- big plus! Jeremy checked us in and was absolutely fabulous! Excellent location despite the online booking which showed the location on the beach. We were within walking distance of the Prom and beach. The downtown area was so quaint and close!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Salem is quite small and unfortunately the state capitol was undergoing building work (it's one of the main sights). Not too many shops and restaurants downtown but the ones I went too were very good. Good place for a couple of days visit.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Astoria is a unique town in a unique location.
Astoria is a unique town in a unique location. I love the architecture of many of the homes in Astoria and the way they are arrayed along hilly streets. The town is fairly compact so attractions are never a long drive away. Ships coming in from the sea to go up the Columbia river or returning to the sea lend interest as you drive or walk around the city. Astoria remains one of my favorite cities in the Pacific Northwest!Guest review byBradleyUnited States
