What an amazing gem! The rooms were beautiful and a great size! Very comfortable, and felt very luxe with the plantation shutters. The view of the ocean from the room and listening to the birds was just bliss. The heated pool and hot tub was very nice, enjoyed that it was outside so you could hear the ocean and see the stars. We enjoyed the later check-out time. There were cute swing chairs and firepit's and beach access too. It was incredible value for money in a superb location.

Everything!!!!! The warm welcome, nothing to much trouble, beautifully decorated room and fantastic sea view. We arrived just in time to enjoy sunset on our balcony and as early birds sunrise on the near by pier. Where we were lucky enough to see dolphins, sea lions and whales 🐳. I had read the reviews before our stay and wish I had listened and spent more than one night in this wonderful accomadation and chilled out town. It is a destination in its own right not just a passing through stop off. We would recommend the local Sea Shanty restaurant for great hospitality and great food.

    Exceptional property at a lovely, laid back beach town. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful that we encountered in California. We loved that we could borrow beach chairs and equipment and our kids loved the pool. It was the perfect place for some R&R on our road trip. The rooms were big and comfortable and I would highly recommend going for a sea view suite. The quality of the food at breakfast was also very high. The range on offer was a bit more limited than at some of the other hotels we stayed at but that was no problem for us.

    Stunning View, Amazing breakfast with a great choice of omelette/porridge, snacks, waffles with great strawberry jam. I also loved that Nature Reserve is just behind the hotel - 5 minutes walk and you have great trails with gorgeous views. The restaurant nearby (Ventana Grill) is also great. I also loved that the room had small kitchenette and a kettle! I really valued the opportunity to make some tea for myself right in the room.

    This is a beautiful hotel! The rooms were exceptionally clean and the room we got allocated was really large with a lovely outdoor seating area in the front. You couldn't get closer to the beach, the parking was very handy too. The bar is also in the perfect spot for an evening drink with the fire pits too

    Have lots of fun things to do like The Breakers sports bar restaurant, Brad's restaurant by the pier, the old cinnamon roll factory, and All in walking distance. And so much more that we could not get to see. The beach was there for the best day ever.

    This time of year is great to visit.

    This time of year is great to visit. Being off season Morro Bay feels like a sleepy seaside village leaving you time to relax and stroll around away from the crowds. I’ve eaten at Dorns which is wonderful and Rudy’s Rock Cafe. Rudy’s has a garden get away in the back which is a great spot to visit, while enjoying a coffee and simple breakfast. Come early if you want his homemade quiche. .

    Charming town with interesting stores and excellent restaurants. Highly recommend Sea Chest, Robin's, and Madeleine's for dinner and Creekside for breakfast. Several good golf courses and wine tasting spots within 30-40 minutes in Morro Bay and Paso Robles.

    Paso is a wonderful city and region in the center of our state. Great restaurants and lovely boutique hotels all anround the park. although we didn’t have time to shop, I sure wanted too! The wine industry is as good as our Sonoma/Napa region that we live very close to! Will totally be back.

    I loved the grounds-the waterfall, the bridge, the plentiful flowers, the breakfast, and getting a good nights sleep was so refreshing! I was glad our room had a tub as I prefer taking baths! We ate at ednme pizza in town and it was delicious! Getting around Arroyo Grande was easy, and the yound woman working the room for breakfast was, sweet, warm, friendly and so busy making sure everyone was well fed and happy!

    Loved the hospitality from staff, very homey & clean, happy hour for wine, beer, beverages- home made cookies delivered to our door/room- had variety of choices for breakfast delivered to your room at the time you requested. It was perfect location across the street from the ocean & pier. The hotel felt very secured, cozy,warm & big rooms & jet tub Restaurants are 2 doors down from schooners to pizza the hidden kitchen- burger restaurant. So many stores nearby butter cookie & tshirt shops etc..
