Our bungalow is right in front of rice fields, with mountains behind, best view of the Vietnamese countryside. It’s cozy and clean as well with a private bathroom, we could sleep very well. The best part is to hear the noise of the fields during the night (cricket, frogs, birds, etc.). It was a really authentic experience. City is big enough to feed and entertain you all the night. The dam is nice from every angle. Be aware foreigners need passport to buy a ticket to get there. Ba Vi park is nearby and fun to explore on motorcycle.
