The breakfast was amazing. We had the continental and were super impressed with the variety of healthy fresh food. This was a last minute booking the result of a delayed flight. We took a chance using. Booking.com just to find somewhere near the airport for 1 night at a reasonable price. Our expectations were low. We just wanted a bed after flying for 2 days from Canada. And so we were very very grateful for the warm welcome we received, the cozy, clean room and comfy bed. Also we were happy thantheee was a nice restaurant to have dinner as we were too tired to go anywhere else. The staff were all very professional and friendly. Thank you everyone!

It exceeded all my expectations; the food was well presented, and the ambiance was enhanced by a burning fireplace that not only provided heat but also created a cosy yet exotic atmosphere. I have never experienced this combination with the "involved" and friendly staff.

Mandy was extremely kind , flexible and accommodating during our son's extended stay at Durbanville Mediclinic, only a stone through away. The flat is lovely, homely and has everything you need. I came home in the dark and always felt safe. This will be my go-to accomodation when we need to be in Durbanville. Perfect!! Thank you Mandy and Natascha, it's been a pleasure dealing with both of you.

Excellent location close to the Sports Ground for my cycle race. Friendly owner. Clean and modern facilities with many additional nice touches such as an honesty bar and a welcoming chocolate by the bed etc. The owner was able to give me a late check out to enable us to return to freshen up and pack after the race.

    Few places remain with us, even after leaving. Evertsdal is definitely one of them. Me and my spouse had the most romantic getaway at this beautiful haven. From the moment we booked our stay, we were met with nothing but exceptional service - the staff here truly does go the extra mile to accommodate their guests. The place itself looks even better than the pictures, the housing unit we were staying at was stunningly decorated and had a fully equipped lounge and kitchen, a fantastic setup for bigger groups of people. Our double room was as cute and cozy as it can get - and exceptionally clean! All the equipment looked new and was in working order, so we were able to heat up the space (it was winter) within minutes. The intentionality in making their guest stay outstanding shows in little details, such as candles and matches next to the bath. A tasty breakfast was just the cherry on top of our overall perfect stay. This is a 5-star experience regardless of the room you book. 11 out of 10!

    Evvie and Kris were amazing hosts, who simply could not do enough to make my short stay very pleasant indeed. I stayed in Birds Nest Cottage, which was very well appointed, and extremely clean and comfortable. The pool was immaculate and just the right size for a swim after a hot day. Nice quiet location, but within walking distance of the village where you can find restaurants and shops. Also, only a short drive to local wine estates with restaurants. I'm already planning a trip next year, and when in the Cape Town area, will definitely be staying at Pelican Place Cottages......can't recommend enough. Steve.

    Nestled in winelands, with pictureqsqe mountain backdrops - this is small town grown big yet retains the heart of civility. There's something for everyone - outdoors lovers, shops, Lindt chocolate sotres - and a lot of great restaurants such as Jean to choose from. It's conveniently located to Stellenbosch and on the wine route, within an hour of Cape Town airport, and arguably has the best cardiologist and some of the best medical facilities in South Africa. Downside - the accomodation is not nearly as good as the internet and Bookings.com photo's suggest. Don't trust the ***** star ratings - complete BS, unverified.

    Staying over night was the best

    Staying over night was the best The place is still new but is good space for you and your partner, the cleanliness was 💯 % good just the water for show warm water was limited no fridge no microwave no smoking area place must smoke outside and it was very cold but it was fantastic to do a over night, like I say they still new in this game so as time fly they will be come better.

Food was delicious and would definitely eat there again (special or not) Please, and I have been askong it for years., get like shadecloth for guests staying at hotel. If I had to stay for a week or more, the sun would have burnt my car and probably cracked a window or dashboard.. I stayednthere before and always requested this

    The outside view of the rooms is not appealing. The moment I landed at the place, before i could walk inside the property, I felt like I made a mistake. But one you enter the house, you feel like you are somewhere different from the outside place.

    This is not the first time we have spent time at this lodge...

    This is not the first time we have spent time at this lodge and will always come back as the Hotel is always neat and friendly staff . Breakfast and dinners are outstanding and the fact that they are close to the Grand West Casino makes it so much more attractive. My wife and i enjoy the theatre shows and staying over instead of driving home late at night makes it worth our while. Will be back soon again.

    It was a short trip, but we could have stayed longer if we could. We attended a wedding at Lichtenburg Farm Wedding Venue and visited the V & A Waterfront the next day, having lunch at Quay Four. Also had supper at Cape Town Brauhaus in Durbanville. With GPS it was not too bad. The only time that was really problematic, was the traffic heading back to the airport. It took us 1 and a half hour, almost missing our flight.
