The hot tub near the room is fascinating, and even in a cool day it was lovely.

Every sunrise and sunset is breathtaking. I love the views and how quiet the beaches were. I was able to run along the coast with my puppy which was a life long dream of mine - I was able to make those memories with her because Beach Music was accommodating and allowed me to bring my pup.

Very calm and relaxing place. Breakfast was very good. Safe place to stay and you can even go out in the village after dark safely. Amazing stay when you are in the area. Close to many wonderful hikes and only 20 min away from "the bungee jump bridge"

Absolutely wonderful stay in the Tsitsikama. The chalets are spacious and are well stocked. We loved the hot tubs and the delicious meals at the restaurant. We can't wait to return.

The safety is guaranteed. Security personnel did its work exceptionally good. The owners of the Ark were friendly and welcoming. Cleaner was trustworthy and respected our privacy. The place is perfect for anyone who wants to have a peace of mind, clean and beautiful.

The hikes in Tsitsikamma National Park were phenomenal.
The hikes in Tsitsikamma National Park were phenomenal. We loved the bridge hike and the waterfall hike (although it was challenging but our 3 little kids were able to hike it). The beach was nice. The restaurant by the beach was a pleasant experience and reasonably priced.

We walked around the beach and harbour - loved the views.
Only complain was some guests noisy late at night and early mornings, but otherwise happy and will for sure return to visit again

The restuarants were very expensive EXCEPT the new place called "THE KITCHEN", which we would highly recommend and is excellently run, very pleasant staff, spotlessly clean, tastefully done out, an area for children and value for money. Lovely breakfasts, coffee and homemade cakes. "THE KITCHEN" is run by a husband and wife team. WELL DONE to them.

We only stayed for 1 night and we saw quite a few animals. The animals were moving right in front of our room, we could just sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. Birdlovers will also enjoy the stay, different birdsong were heard.

There are views of hills, vlei and ocean on 3 sides of this property. Two outside braais allows you to adapt to the wind direction and wall-to-wall glassdoors help manage temperature and ocean breeze.
2 living areas and two decks allow 8 people to live spaciously and freely. The layout is a mirror image with 2 bedrooms connected by an ensuite next to each living area - ideal for two families.
Don't forget the homemade roosterkoeke sold down the road.

The people are awesome and we had fun! The beach is fantastic for long walks or just relaxing. There is no shortage of entertainment and you are welcomed by everyone. I would recommend this place to all. Sea shells offers great food and right on the beach. The kospot offers homely meals. The hideout is an amazing bar for people to gather. We had a fantastic weekend

There was nothing to like about the place,, honestly not as advertised. The outside looks scary, grass is not cut, garden not well taken care of. The WiFi didn’t get to our room. Pillow cases were dirty. No hot water. Sometimes the basin tap doesn’t have running water.

More of an upscale Florida-style residential community than a tourist destination, but the sandy beaches along the estuary are beautiful.
With the lighthouse inexplicably closed, Seal Point - desolate and windwept - was a disappointment.
Standout restaurant for the evening was Chokkablock. It's popular and you do need to book. We were able to reserve a table by email.
For a relaxed lunch head to the excellent Coastal Collective cafe.
The Superspar supermarket has everything you need for supplies.
